acer aspire 4220 laptop screem goes blak after many blinks of lights and not off even with power button and also not booting.

hello ,and welcome to daniweb,here's hoping you are not just starting a signature spam thread ,lol ,
lets try this ,remove power cord and battery ,hole in the power button for about 1 min ,leave battery out and connect the power cord and try booting laptop .if no go reinstall battery with the power cord and try a boot
