Hi there.

Recently, $2k managed to find its way into my hands and i decided to use that money to buy a new computer.
Im gonna get the asus L1N64-SLI WS/B (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=82&l3=612&l4=0&model=1984&modelmenu=2) motherboard.

it has four ram slots, two for each cpu, that support a max speed of PC2-5400 ram but i was wondering if i could put faster ram in it.

i know that if i put faster ram in it it *should* underclock the ram to the right speed but is it possible to overclock the ramslots or the system ram bus to accommodate the faster ram?

the L1N64-SLI WS/B has VERY good overclocking features. . . . .

oc'ing on wtx mobo= risky
