I have Gateway Solo 1450 laptop with XP operating system. I was on battery, the battery gave out and computer went into hibernation. I plugged in the AC power adapter cable into the power connector. The battery charge indicator light came on. I pressed the power button above the keyboard and the computer would not start up. I then held the power button down for 10 seconds, released it and pressed it again. The computer still did not turn on. I have let it charge for an hour and pressed the power button again. The computer would still not turn on.
