I have a base server MS 2008 with Hyper-v RC-1 loaded. The base server has NIC one set to connect to main network. There are three Virtual servers loaded in, 2 dc's hosting DNS, and DHCP, And one Exchange Server 2007. The Virtual machine's nics are setup with static IP's on a 172 class b network. The secondary physical nic has been setup to be the virtual switch to allow pass through to the external network, and the virtual nic created has a static IP as well. I have a Laptop out on the switch assigned for this segmented network on the 172.x.x.x and for some reason it is not pulling an address from the DHCP server.... Any Ideas???:| I fanyone has any thoughts or pointers please feel free to answer this thread back, any and all help is greatly appreciated, as me and another SA have run out of ideas...
