This seemed like the best place for this question, so if it isn't please let me know.

I am looking at buying a new computer and I have narrowed it down to two from Dell. Both are customizable but neither have all the features I want. The Specifications are listed below.

-Intel Core 2 Duo E7300
-Vista Home basic service pack 1
-No Office Software
-Dell SP2009W 17" Widescreen Monitor
-3 GB RAM
-320 GM Serial ATA Hard Drive
-16x DVD+/-RW
-ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB
-Integrated 7.1 channel audio
-No TV Tuner
-Dell USB Keyboard and Dell Optical USB Mouse
-No Bluetooth
-No Floppy Drive
-No Modem
-Internal PCI 802.11g Wireless Network Card
-No optional ports
-$599

-Intel Core 2 Duo E7300
-Vista Home Premium 64 bit
-No Office Software
-Dell SP2009W 17" Widescreen Monitor
-3 GB RAM
-320 GM Serial ATA Hard Drive
-16x DVD+/-RW
-ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB
-Integrated 7.1 channel audio
-No TV Tuner
-Dell USB Keyboard adn Dell Optical USB Mouse

Which one seems like a better deal? If we could get either with the same (Internal PCI 802.11g Wireless Network Card) wireless card and 64 bit windows which one would be better?

Thanks in advance.

Never ever ever get home basic its terrible. Home premium is the way to go.

64 bit will let you take better advantage of your 3gb of ram.

A 17" monitor (especially a wide one) will be far too small and will look crap. Get a 19".
