I have a Dell 4500 with windows XP. I was trying to load the website for my company's VPN when that action caused all sorts of bizzare actions. First I cannot get into MSN explorer. The error message says that their is something wrong with the internet provider. However I can get in through Mozilla .Second, I cannot get my itunes to pop up. Whether I hit the icon, or try to open from program-- nothing. Third the PC no longer recognizes the usb port for my sony reader.
I tried system restore-- nothing. I ran a boot using avast, and ran all of my standard malware stuff-- ad aware, spybot and malawarebyte. Tried to run spydoctor but getting an error message saying cannot connect to spydoctor engine
Anybody got any ideas?????
