computer freezes at bios setup

i want change boot menu from hard drive to cd rom,so that i can format my computer but it freezes at the bios setup so can you help me, is there any other way i can do it

if there's a jumper setting in your motherboard to clear your CMOS, try to do it... or try removing your CMOS batt, put it back after 2 mins.. power on your PC.. it will show CMOS error..then try to enter BIOS..check if you'll be able to enter BIOS setup...

**Make sure that you disconnect the AC plug from your PSU** before doing this things.. if you're not technically enough to do this better ask someone who knows how to do it..

i think that is more technical.so i am asking for a simplier way of doing it if there is,pliz help
