When I try to start safe mode it never starts up it just goes to my Win 7 start up I am trying to run spybot in safe mode to get rid of unwanted program but again I am having troubles getting into safe mode can anybody help me

Yes. You need to press F8 repeatedly while booting. As it id done, let it free for some time.
