When I did a xp recovery windows will bring up a screen asking if I want to use safe mode. If I choose safe mode, all the files will not load up. If I choose to open normally the computer freezes up after the bar on the bottom scans across. I have tried a system restoration and get the same results. What could be causing this problem. I have a HP Pavilion that has xp on a hidden partition on the harddrive
