I have installed SP2, but my Local Area connection for ADSL is messed up. It says <LIMITED OR NO CONECTIVITY>. I think this is something with IP adresses, but I can't handle it, and when I click repair it doesn't do anything

start with this ,do a release and renew

If that doesn't help check network cards drivers info in device manager ,make sure there are no red or yellow ! next to network devices .to get to device manager right click on mycomputer /properties/hardware /device manager ,you may have driver issue
