When I log into windows XP Pro I get a pop up window at the beginning asking if I want to run WINPOL.EXE
Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of this. I have only just installed a fresh copy of XP.

Do you know why I have to keep running it everytime I login? Did a search in google and some pages say its a virus?
Auto hotkey poller? Manufacturer? Unknown? It very likely is a malware. Try checking it with VirusTotal and Kaspersky online virus scan.
