How many programs do you have running at startup? Also how many anti-virus' do you have running? Your anti-virus' will slow down your startup because they do a scan on startup. You can go to run-msconfig and click on the startup tab and see what programs you have on startup. Here you need to be cariful because if you uncheck the wrong ons you will have trouble booting up.

If you are, unable to find anything related to an entry on the site above Google it i.e. Google qttask and you will see it is for quicktime that can be disabled without causing a problem. This will drastically speed up your login time.
