dvd drive problems

when i insert a empty dvd disc into my drive it doesnt come up with any options and it dont even work..

i have tried a few discs and there all the same..tried them on another computer and they work fine

its a 3 in 1 drive..cd,dvd etc lol

ok, tell us does it read music or software disks,will it play dvd movies ,ect, ect ,ect .
go to mycomputer right click on the icon for the dvd drive ,choose auto run and set it up to auto run disk types with the programs you want to use for each disk type,or set to open folder to view different file types.blank disk to open with burning software you use ect ect ect .

how do i select auto run..

i dont see it

can you give me moreinfo please..and yes music cds and dvds work

i can also burn cds but when i put in a dvd-r it dont work

sorry ,right click on the icon and choose properties ,then auto run,do you have dvd burning software installed on the computer,as just cd-r burning software will not work with dvd-r
