Firstly analyse the whole site and i prefer the onpage should be good optimized and after that start promotion.

Firstly analyse your website and see the onpage is complete or not, see cananical issue,url mapping,metas and so on. After that start promotion then definately see the result.

SEO is for long term and its chea as compare to PPC. In SEO you can do lots of things for promotion like onpage,offpage and smo. So, all of are must and better than PPC. So, i think SEO is best.

Good question Firstly its depend on client how they have knowledge about SEO if he have good knowlegde they want everthing but mostly client needs only leads no traffic,pr and so on They want only business,and ranking in top 10.

My point of view its not disappear. The process will slow down and posted on related sites and too much posting is banned.Regular marketing is must in SEO but in 2014 all things are in limited manner.
