about 5 days ago when i tried to run 3d games (battle field 2, CoD 4) the games would freeze at a random time usually within 10 sec to 10 min of running it. and about 0.5 sec of the sound that was playing would repeat it self really fast while the screen was frozen. i couldnt exit or open task manager so i would have to force shutdown, then start up again and try and play the game again, then after a while of me repeating this, on start up windows froze (like when it had pretty much finished loading, the start bar was up and some of the icons loaded) it happens every time that i turn on my computer usually within 5 sec - 12 sec. sometimes the screen would make a retarted coloured pattern all over the screen usually pinkish/yellowish but sometimes blue/yellow and other random colours. im guessing it has something to do with the graphics card?

holy sh*t mines 2.63 and i'v only had it for 22 days!

hi. my skool is one of those tablet pc skools and my friends internet just stopped working at home last nite, but the skool internet works on the fine on that same PC, but at home every other program can run internet except internet xplorer/firefox and he thought it had something to do wiv TCP 80 blocked. anyone know wots wrong?

hi. im goin to this new skool and they require that u hav this laptop: lenovo x61 tablet, here's some details: http://www.tabletpcreview.com/default.asp?newsID=868 cos it has a really crap video card and i like my gaming would it be hard to upgrade to something decent like nvidia 7800 (id go for 8800 but cant afford it) and would it be compatible?

i just figured out if i open the dvd drive and turn it off while its kept open(this is happening wen it wont boot up). then when i turn it bak the PC will work

sometimes when iv been using my PC for quite a while or running games that use a lot of CPU my pc will freeze, i was chekin wot would work while it wos frozen and got this: the num lock etc wont change, mouse lazer will change from dim to bright when moved, and the CD drive will open and close. but anyway after i that force shutdown my PC then turn it bak on but no video will show and the keyboard, mouse wont be active, but when i just turned the PC on the num lock etc will flash for a sec then will become inactive, but the CD drive will open and close. if i wate a while, 4 example about 1 hour it will turn on but if i do try turn it on b4 an hour it wil either do as sed above (not turn on etc) or it will rev with a black screen for about 10 sec then boot up. any1 no wots wrong? thought it mite be overheating but d'no

same thing happened with my drive but it wont play anything except for CD-R and my drive is supposed to play all dvd types

y'no how when you go to the hardware settings of a dvd drive and it says you can only change it 5 times, is there a way to change it? and whats the best region to put. im in australia but wont play any of the dvd's i rent from blockbuster.

well part 1 has a .exe a jpeg and a dll file and the second has just and .exe (i dont need the jpeg) but both the exe's are supposed to install 1 program, i think. cos the first exe has a setup icon while the 2nd exe just has that white box with a blue outline

but there named the same so it says do u want to replace example.exe 100mb with example.exe 24mb

y'no how rapidshare only allows 100mb upload at a time. well there's a program on there its in .rar but split in 2 both .exe's does any1 know how 2 join them or any other files on rapidshare.

some kid keeps hacking all my friends windows live messenger accounts and saying stuff like im g*y to other people i was thinking if i could view his webcam without his permission i could see who it was. is that possible? or another way to find out would be appreciated.

oh and if u hav any programs running in the system tray thing (in the bottom right of ur screen) that u arnt using just close em which should speed up a little

i dont no how 2 fiz WMP11 but u could go 2 the options of realplayer and make it the default player 4 everything

that happened 2 me it wos something wrong with tha bios. i had 2 get sum guy 2 come and fix it but i didnt hav 2 reformat. so i'd just call the company ur PC came from if it had warranty or take it 2 a PC repair shop

not long ago the headphone and speaker jacks on my PC hav a static sound constanly goin no matter wot earphones or speakers i use the normal sound still works but its hard to hear because of the sound. is there sumthing wrong wiv tha sound card :?:

my friend had a problem where he couldn't see the task bar he thought it had something to do the with windows media player in tha little taskbar so he removed WMP and it fixed it

if u have another computer u could put that deleted hard drive into there as a second drive then search for file recovery programs in Google for your operating system (there's quite a lot) then the program will do the rest

u could try reformatting your comp but it deletes everything (including programs) so id only suggest it if everything is backed up
