GF9500 has 32 stream processor and 128-bit memory bandwidth, while GF9600GT has 64 sp and 256-bit memory bandwidth and GF9600GSO has 96 sp and 192-bit memory bandwidth. So bigger RAM doesn't always mean higher performance, if you compare GF9500 with GF9600GT.

Try that vga card in other PC, is it still showing that lines? If it is, prepare to dump your card if it's guarantee time is over.

Select PCI-E, save BIOS change, and connect your monitor cable to VGA Card Output

What kind of motherboard and RAM do you have? If you're planning to upgrade to Phenom II or Phenom, only few AM2 boards can support it. But in gaming, it's better to use dual-core CPU with higher clock (3 GHz or more) than triple or quad-core CPU with lower clock …

Hi, I recently upgraded my CPU from Athlon 64 X2 to Phenom II X4. Everything runs fine, except that Windows Vista only recognized 2 cpus instead of 4 cpus. I run dual boot with Windows XP, and there's no problem in XP. All 4 cores detected, with CPU-Z v1.50. Any …

See here : http://www.asrock.cn/mb/cpu.asp?Model=K10N78FullHD-hSLI%20R2.0&s=AM2%2b I think it support up to 125 Watt CPU, because I don't see support for Phenom 9950 (140 W)

I think NVidia 9400GT from PNY has one card in PCI form. See here : http://www.nextag.com/PNY-GeForce-9400-GT-623816047/prices-html?nxtg=4e7d0a280511-30902476817CD7AB

Normally, when you insert add-on vga card, the mainboard will auto configure itself to add-on card. check your PSU first, maybe it's not powerful enough.

Look at the sticker at your PSU. GTX 260 needs more than 31A at 12V+ rails. It doesn't matter what PSU you have, but pay attention at 12V+ rail(s). Sometimes cheapo PSU says it can do 600W max, but in 12V+ rails it can only give 20A... Try better PSU …

4670 VGA card is good enough when you run it at 1024*768. But if you plan to run your game at higher resolution, find better VGA card like HD4830 or 9600GT

Just plug one of them in your card. How much amp does the 12V give in your PSU? Make sure it is over 20 A... Read it on the PSU Sticker below 12V

Your mainboard can handle any PCIe x16 graphic card, VGA memory type (DDR2, DDR3, or even DDR5) doesn't matter with your mainboard.

Buy an add-on graphic card, your PC has an onboard graphic adapter (Intel GMA 900) which perform below average in 3D Games. At least try GeForce 8400GS or something similar in PCI Express form.

If the hybrid SLI is enabled in bios, both onboard and external card will be shown on the device manager. But it only work in Vista, not XP..

Maybe you should try to find GeForce 6200 AGP 128-bit, and tweak it with Riva Tuner.
