Actually, its not technically a new feature. For the first week or so after Analytics was released, the site-overlay feature was available. However, after initially offering the overlay, Google took it out and didn't add it back in until recently.

I'm definitely able to chip in some money for a DaniWeb New York Get Together. I love the city and won't have any problem getting there; family is from Long Island (Garden City). What's the date you're looking at?
Do you allow your member profiles to be guest accessible?.....
Yes, but email addresses aren't available to logged in members even if the members are registered (unless the member choses to disclose this information). Probably not the best option but profiles don't tell as much about a person as his …
Hi, Do you know whether I can use both AdSense and FastClick in a website? if yes, give me a link to this website for example pls.
My website uses both FastClick and AdSense. I'd post a link but I don't know if that'd be spamming or not.
My experience with Yahoo has been that the ads aren't nearly as targeted as AdSense, and therefore get far fewer clicks, but it is more than compensated by the realllllly great cost per click. Most people have found they make more from Yahoo off of fewer clicks.
Thats really good …

I would think that a BA would open less "programming" type jobs. Is CIS basically an IT major?

I have one thing to add to what dani said. It's true that people will most likely join a forum they're interested in. But it also makes sense that niche website owners will initially have to do more work finding interested users. An owner of a non-niche forum could ask …
I use AdWords only to advertise DaniWeb ... but I am a big budget spender. I invest about half of whatever last month's gross profit was, so it grows each month :) Nothing ever comes out of pocket, so the site pays for itself. I have conversion tracking setup, and …

Disclaimer: I can't figure out where this goes... Please move it to the correct location. I was recently accepted into the Gmail for Domains Beta Program. It seems to be pretty similar to the Gmail with @gmail.com. If you haven't applied to the beta yet, keep in mind that …

I think you have to weigh the benefits of having ads (or more ads than you want) against the amount of revenue these ads are generating. If the revenue allows you to add a lot of great content like paying professionals to write insightful articles, for instance, people will still …

I think it depends on the site. YPN performed worse than Google on my Asperger's Syndrome site, but it performs a lot better on my television site. On my tv site, I get 1-2 dollars a day from YPN but i was getting less than 50 cents a day with …

CSGal, have you tried MSNadcenter? I only bid 5 cents for listings and I seem to always be in the first ad slot. If you want to get organic MSN results, you need to optimize your <title> to include phrases that people are looking for. MSN likes that even more …

Your "developers" seem more like "idiots." If I were you, I'd fire them and hire someone who knows how to use a computer. Its easy to do what you're talking about.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned PDFBox. Although, I think you'd have to use PDFBox and add code for converting to HTML as it might not natively spit out HTML. Haven't really used it but I've heard people talking about it. http://www.pdfbox.org/

Dani, I have noticed this. However, I've also noticed the opposite at some points in time (well actually, displaying half the number of ads but getting the same payout as you would with more ads (and clicks)). I think it has to do with the bidding difference between CPM and …

This seems like a great idea. A lot of the big financial websites (Motley Fool, etc) seem to be using Vibrant Media. I've noticed their inventory seems to be provided, at least in part, by Overture.
Does Black Friday have a web-based cousin? How much percent of your daily revenue do you spend on CPC programs? My forum/article site started growing in size/revenue and I decided it would be best to spend a high portion of my income (50-80%) on google CPC, MSN Adcenter, and Overture. Will this investment pay off? It feels …
Obiztek, .html extensions that rewrite dynamic pages can be accomplished with SEO hacks - there are unofficial SEO hacks available for most major forum systems including phpBB and vBulletin.
SEO isn't the *only* reason to use mod_rewrite. It also makes it easier for people to link to topics.
