how can i edit it like a normal page in dreamweaver do i need to make a css style sheet for it.

Ok i built this site using macromedia fireworks and i am just making it to replace my site in a year or so and just wanted to test out making sites using fireworks.

The problem is when i go into dreamweaver to edit things like text and links i can't how can i make a way to edit a fireworks image like a simple html file in dreamweaver or frontpage.

maybe you should try reinstalling frontpage, i have frontpage but dont use i because i like to use dreamweaver because of its intergration into flash and fireworks.

So you cant load the xp cd at all. Can you start in safe mode because if you can you should do a system restore and a virus check.

did you do an ad-aware, spybot S&D, and virus scan before posting because it looks like you have a lot of bad entries and i just wanted to know because you could avoid having to fix some of these things with hijackthis which requires a lot of experience to know.

Ok some of this stuff looks a little suspicous. make sure to create a system restore point before deleting/fixing anything with hijack this

did you try opening them with a text editor like notepad and then saving them as html files instead of htm files i am pretty sure that it won't make a difference in the document. Or you could just open that file with the texteditor and then copy the content onto frontpage.

Are you connected to a router or a modem.
If connected through a lan router make sure that it is not set to timeout automattically after like 5 minutes.

Try posting this in hardware or networking section it seems like that could be the porblem

Try reinstalling the mouse drivers if like most people you have an intellepoint optical mouse than you can find the drivers at microsoft.com. You could still have viruses on your system do another virus scan to make sure.

I think you are missing a file because in the html it says that there is another css file called bobbyragsnew or something.

Well follow crunchie's advice and scan with ad-aware, spybot search and destroy, and hijackthis. Do it in that order (spybot and ad-aware can be interchangebal) then post your hijackthis log here.

Save the files as txt files and then upload them and tell the people to click save as css and html

I think it would be a better idea to be an internal drive to install the os on. That is just my opinion i haven't had much experience with external ones.

Brent im not rich and it would take me just as long to get a degree in computer science my friend takes at northeastern and he is already working at a company that develops software for medical testing he hasn't even graduated yet.

Brent that sounds terrible maybe you should blame yourself for picking a stupid major like finance if you wanted to work with computers you should of taken computer science(programming languages) and computer engineering(hardware and stuff). next year my school offers a computer ap class i might take it but i dont know if it is programming like i want or something stupid like excel.

ok thanks i am pretty used to knowing what is on my pc so i knew there was not any common spyware or viruses, but i just wanted to be sure.

try fedora core 2 i dont know much about linux and it is pretty easy to use.
