Ok first off just a few things you can only post hijack this logs in the security forum and you should make sure to update your hijackthis to the latest one.

From what you describe it is not a spyware problem but probably a problem with your connection settings. If you are on a lan line make sure that in internet options<connections tab that when you click on the button lan settings that it is set to auto detect lan settings.

run the xp cd and make sure that when asked you say to restore. Only do this if someone else cant help you. Try booting into safe mode or last know good configuration.

well you might want to consider another server application like apache. I've never used IIs but I hear that is very difficult and not worth the effort.

Well you will probably want to change the dynamic setup (i.e pages people interact with and the part that php is used for) of your site so learning php would not be a bad idea. But im pretty sure the main bulk of your content should be in html. You should be able to find the content and change it. You can edit php files in notepad and then just save them as .php files.
I would say that next time though i would get a guy who is not a jacka$$ and will write it something a little easier like html.

Ok i think that mac and windows equal out in what is better for vider editing and graphics. I think it is more about choosing the right software. For video editing though i would have to say that some mac tools are better especially final cut pro.

I like mozilla firefox simply because you get the features,security, and pop blocking that IE doesnt have. Opera is too cluttered for me and has a lot of pop ups telling me to buy the more expensive version of their software. I dont think that making IE available for computers should be legal. IT is just one gigantic security whole if you use IE you are pretty much inviting spyware and trojans onto your computer.

get ad-aware SE, then get spybot search and destroy and scan with them.
then after you've done a scan with all of those get hijackthis (search for the newest version) then sacn and post your log in the security forum.

yeah you cant move memory from one drive to another and we were only fighting because were brothers.

goto the program files and delete the rebates nation folders or if it wont let you quarantine the folder. then goto start<run< and type regedt32 (make a system restore point before doing this.) then goto either hkey_local_machine <software or hkey_current_user<software and look for a folder named rebates nation.

I have just setup a simple home page and forum. the homepage is willpull22.remnetworks.com and it the forum is sort of like this forum but there are not as many members or options (daniweb uses vbulletin $160, I use PHPbb free). So my site and my forum offer you news,info, and fixes related to computer tech.

Sometimes this happens and it will allow you to install without the file and boot windows xp but then you will have to another restore cd installation. This happened to me because it copied files i had from sp2 and then could not recover after the setup removed them.

I dont really think windows updates would be the problem it would have to be an update that would modify that section of your registry or something like that. Most windows updates are just security updates for IE and other windows components none of them should effect your personal software.

Well it is probably 2 drives because that would be sort of a weird partition. I would just install things on the second drive just change the install path from C:/ to whatever the empty drives name is. It doesn't really matter because 140 gb is alot of space so the only way you could run out of space or not be able to install on it is if the drive has another OS installed on it like linux.

Also heres a tip when writing a post make sure you write in a way that people can read and not full of gramatical errors and mispelled words.

Re-intsall ad-aware maybe your installer was infected somehow.

just come up with your own program that does something bad. For example my brother made something that makes your computer login and then restart on a constant loop. I dont know how you exactly you make things like trojans. But why would you want to sink to their level.

my home page has some pretty good tips on how to remove spyware in the spyware info section.

Ok you set a restore point by going to start< all programs< accessories< system tools< system restore. then click create new restore point and give it a name. this simply takes a quick look at system files and remembers the setup. You should do this before trying to do anything that migh mess up your computer like deleting registry files.
