I have Windows XP and have installed SP2. Since then, I cannot connect to the internet by clicking the I/e icon on the desktop or by pressing the www button on the keyboard,this just bring up 'page cannot be displayed',although I can connect to the internet by first clicking adsl icon on desktop and then the i/e icon.
I've uninstalled sp2 and done various scans(sbybot, adaware etc) and fixes but nothing seems to work.

I'd be grateful for any advice on this
