im looking to find out my specs on my windows xp professional pc. i used to have a program that did this for me. it told me everything i needed to know had the manufacturers links next to the product name etc. does anyone know what program i am talking about? i need this information to give to some one i know so they can help me out on upgrading my pc. thanks!

Open up the command prompt and type: systeminfo


Or you can download PSTOOLS's PSINFO to check the specs.

psinfo doesnt work...it opens and then closes once it gets the information. is there any other software? i used to have one that was an actual program. but i cant remember the name of it.
