I need to do a system recovery on my compaq urgently, i've backed up all my important files n documents, but when i press f10 on boot up nothing happens? the screen says to press f10 for system recovery, ive pressed it repeatedly and tried just holding it down but nothing happens, my pc just continues loading windows as normal. i thought it might be the f keys but if i press say f1 for setup, the setup menu will load before windows. Am I not doing something right?:?:

I had the same problem last week. I ended up ordering the recovery disks from HP and booted to the cd and ran a recovery. PS, I had to change the boot order so that the cdrom was first boot device to get it to boot to the drive. Then after the recovery, I had to change it to the hdd as first boot device.
