my computer and monitor keep shutting down and restarting on their own, even if i am on the internet or not!
I used to have dsl, but i am on dial up now(netzero premium) and it never did it then. I am running windows 2000 professional. Can somebody help me with this?

Could be any number of problems. Most likely, the shutting down of your monitor is due to the shutting down of the pc. So your monitor should be fine.
Why your pc is shutting down could be hardware related or software related. Try a full virus scan if that doesn't work, try a reformat if that doesn't work it's time to start looking at your hardware.
