HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

In the right-pane, double-click NoViewContextMenu and set it to 0 if exists.
Do the same here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Hey kc0arf ! can you point out the registry hive which changes the maximum users from 10 to our choice.

I dont think RAM is a problem there .... it does slow down the system but it'll not halt it. I have installed win xp sp2 with only 112 mb of ram ... yes if there is no virtual memory windows will attempt to make memory temporarily ... but it'll certainly boot. The only case left is as told by kc0arf.

Did you cancel the writing process sometime ?? Put in another disc and then try to write the files on the other disc... I do come up with these situations and the cd becomes unusable.

Did you do a virus scan and a spyware scan ???? most probably you'll have a virus in your computer. The command I told you was only for reseting LSPs. Post your hijackthis log in spyware and nasties forum.

You can change the maximum number of users by --> going to tools --> folder options --> view --> and unchecking use simple file sharing .... now you can right click the folder you wanted to share .... click the sharing tab and set the user limit to maximum allowed.

havnt you tried it from add remove programs in control panel ?????

Nope !! Windows xp is client only operating system ... you'll need atleast one server OS for domain ... Yes you can make a workgroup for xp systems.

You can just drag and drop the programs you mostly use in the list ... they wont go away. I think you cleared the most recently used documents folder .............
