You talk about Pakistan ... okay I tell you my views ............. I oppose Pakistan for being a front line state against "terrorism" ... I oppose Saudia Arabia for supporing the US ... I oppose all the Muslim countries for supporting the US and I oppose all the world for being in war against terrorist without defining terrorism clearly ...

But I do think that 9 11 was a terrorist attack ... but just blaming Taliban or Osama for the attacks without proofs wasnt at all fair.

Yeah, get the facts from a clearly biased source. If you want to do that kind of junk, I'm sure I can EASILY find LOTS of trash on Pakistan. You guys have been too busy killing each other for the last thousand years to control yourself...No wonder you can't figure out why the US is intervening.

You can change the drive letters by right clicking my computer --> manage --> disk management --> right clicking any drive and first removing its drive letter and then reassigning it another one if it's available.

Yes windows wont let you format the drive it is residing in ... so you could just boot from a cd rom or if you have a dual boot system .. you could go to the other operating system and format the drive.

Right click my computer --> properties --> advanced --> startup and recovery settings --> uncheck automatically restart ...... and whenever there's a problem report back with the error code on the blue screen.

A very hard question for the person who just likes to play so many types of games but here is a temporary list :

Can you get something by starting up in windows xp with vga mode ?? the option can be accessed by pressing F8 on startup.

Yes if you install the windows from scratch ... you'll most probably have the same settings as your previous windows .... if its an upgrade not a new installation.

Cant you open your tower's cover and unplug one of the drives. ??

Plug out one of them and start windows ... n see what happens. ..

do you have cd rom and cd-r drives simultaneously installed .... install only one of them and then try again.

Does your bios detect the cd rom ?? on startup I mean.

1) Click on Start and choose Run.

2) Type in RegEdit and select OK.

3) Now click on the little plus sign to the left of H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

4) Continue to drill down, always clicking on the plus sign at the left of the named key, through Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version and Policies.

5) Now click on the Ratings folder.

6) In the right pane of the RegEdit window, you'll see an icon called Key. Click on it and press Delete.

7) Next, choose Registry and then Exit to exit RegEdit. You've just deleted your original Content Advisor password.

8) Restart the computer and run Internet Explorer again.

9) Choose View and then Internet Options (or Options for version 3.x). For IE 5 or greater, Click on Tools, Internet Options.

10) Click on the Content tab and click on Disable. When asked for a password, don't enter anything; just click on OK. This will disable Content Advisor because there's no longer a password.

The longer you leave your drive without Defragging the longer it will take when you do, you could try a Third-Party Defragger like Diskeeper.

Have you done an offline installation of flash player ?? if not ... do it manually rather than online ...

Download the flash player onto your computer and then install it from there. (uninstall the existing player first).

And if IE does it again ... be sure to end task iexplore.exe from task manager ... and then try starting it again.

I had the same problem with the same card ... I just uninstalled the graphics driver and rebooted .... when the windows started again it found a hardware ( vga ) and I installed the same driver again ... it worked.

That's what I was afraid of, but if the hard drive is still good couldnt I just connect it to another computer as a secondary hard drive and retrieve data that way?, and then reformat/partition and clean install?

Yes you can do it this way ... and your windows will be cleaner than ever :D.

Or booting from cd .... when the option comes:

Install windows
Repair windows through Recovery console
Quit setup

Choose the first option (press enter)

Now it'll search for previous versions of windows and if found it'll give you an option to repair it or to install a new copy ....

You'll choose the first option to repair it (by pressing r) ... it'll automatically repair windows startup n bla bla.

Boot from cd rom and when it says Install new windows press enter and then press r for automated repair ... if there's a problem with windows startup it'll repair by itself.

Did you do some spyware scanning recently ??
