Use chkdsk /f instead of /p and then check it again.

Problem solved ... Confused a hell out of me lol.

1) I think this is some kinda plug in problem ... disable IE plugins and then try again ..

2) You can try IEFIX to repair or reinstall internet explorer .... download it from here :

Uncheck the two check boxes (if they're checked), insert windows cd and then click apply.

Crunchie is talking about Internet Explorer service pack 1.... and you must be talking about windows xp service pack 2. You can see whether your IE has a service pack or not by opening IE and then going to help --> about internet explorer.

The more popular a browser get, the more chances it gets to be exploited. I know of hackers who just exploit IE amazingly. And the most arguable thing is that IE is built into windows so its more vulnurable to attacks than any other browser. I also use IE alot ... but I also use Mozilla and Opera. All of them are secure if you have done some security measures for your operating system.

Actually, I don't. When I first started here, rep points were displayed as numbers just like your post count. Somewhere in there the points rating display was changed to the green boxes, but I can't remember how many actual points I had when that happened.

So you can type in something that describes your character or ident.

You mean your hand written signature ?? scan it n attach a link in your sig .... but I dont think you're allowed to display an image in your signatures on daniweb.

I think each sub-forum displays active members at the bottom of the forum ... but I do think that there should be an active member list for the whole forum category too like in tech talk or coffee house.

Intel Active Monitor comes with the processor and board you specified ... are the stats n figures from that software ?? If not use it and then tell the stats again. It should be found on Intel's site.

Do a ctrl - Alt - del ... and open taskmanager ........... end task explorer.exe and then start a new task explorer.exe... If it works .... scan for spyware afterwards.
