check your classpath, there's an error in it.
Most likely you're not setting it properly so the directory with your compiled classes isn't included.

Is there an increase of people using code tags or an increase in moderator activity, editing more posts more quickly to introduce them which might cause members to see more code tags when the actual posters themselves didn't originally include them?

I can only speak for myself, but I've for a few weeks now hit the "flag bad post" button far more often than the "post reply" button, and that's not changed since the new layout was introduced.
While most of those were link spammers, that's not changed either (despite the sig links now I think only being shown to registered members?) as I'd predicted.

*super sigh*

Even more sigh, the "decrease size" and "increase size" buttons are rather weird. Usually an up-arrow means "increase", not "decrease"

He asked if it's possible, and I answered that it is, lol ;)

Seriously, passing credentials in http requests is not that hard. Look at Apache commons for example (I'm sure there are other libraries ready made that can do it, or you can write your own).

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

Wrong, it's "super easy" for anyone who knows a tiny bit about Java.
No Hibernate or other persistence framework needed, just common sense.

In fact it's so trivial the only way to be more specific than I already was would be to give him all the code to actually do it, and I'm not going to do that.

If there's a rescue partition it will contain the disc images to use, after you use that rescue partition to restore the main harddisc to factory settings.

Otherwise, do as Finito says and go out and buy a legal copy of some operating system (XP of course is no longer available for retail purchase).

in a jar file you should have added to the classpath when compiling.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

yes, but like all "f2p" games you need to spend serious money in their itemmalls in order to play effectively, especially at higher levels.
Believe me, I've played Shaiya. Once you're into the harder modes at lvl40+ it's all but impossible to get any further without spending hundreds of dollars of real money.
And Allods is worse from all I've heard about it.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

not going to work like that, you don't want to "rename a tag" (you won't do that anyway, you'd map one tag in the input to another in the output) but map tags to different tags based on the order in the source document.
As there is no hieratchical order guaranteed by the xml standard, that mapping cannot be created.
In other words, there's no guarantee that on successive parsings of your source you'd get the <p> tags in the order 1,2,3,4 each time.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

use the keys from the hashtable as keys in your database, the values as datafields.
Effectively a hashtable can be mapped directly to a database table like that.
You will have to somehow ensure you get unique primary keys if you want a primary key on the database table, but that is usually handled with some sort of autoincrement field.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

don't help homework kiddos

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

and oh, if you want to have any decent gear in Shaiya (and Allods) you're going to have to spend hundreds of dollars in their item malls.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

Allods from all I've heard about it sucks and is massively overpriced.
I've played Shaiya for several months, the game economy was in tatters (massive inflation causing even the simplest things to cost more than most players can get together in weeks), large scale afk levelling and powerlevelling made it nearly impossible for people to actually do things because powerlevellers were camping every decent spot on all maps nearly 24/7, large scale overcrowding of the servers, etc. etc. etc.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

learn to read. It tells you exactly what's wrong. And ALL of it has to do with missing imports and/or classpath entries.
If the compiler can't find a package or class you're importing it generates an error on the import statement.
Later if you use that class, it tells you the class doesn't exist (and it doesn't, as it wasn't imported because the import failed).
ALWAYS fix errors from the top down, later errors may very well be caused by earlier ones.

Lots and lots of diploma mills and fake certificate suppliers out there.
Any "online certification" would automatically classify as one of those.

And physical travel and stay in another country would negate any lower cost of the actual training itself.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

Any decent company wants people who can think, not monkeys who learned a trick and can repeat it over and over again.
Learning C++ or Java would hardly matter to them, they'd know full well that any fresh graduate knows nothing whatsoever and needs to be taught everything from scratch.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

there's some software that can, sometimes, if you're lucky, do that, by reading the disk as a physical block device rather than an operating system disk device.
No guarantees of course, if something else has been written since in the physical location of the original it's gone forever.

Your best bet is to hope there are backups...

1) define table structure
2) learn about jdbc
3) create a decent architecture for your persistence layer
4) decouple the persistence code out of your existing application
5) replace the calls to the decoupled persistence code with calls to the new persistence layer

spammers aren't moving from China to other parts of the world, they're just expanding their operations to involve new grounds with high levels of vulnerable computers to use as their botnets as more and more countries get an internetted telecommunications architecture.
McAffee aren't the only ones noticing it, but are usually the ones with the most flashy press releases so it's them the mainstream media pick up on as their source of information.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

how to i do that, please can you give me an instance

he's told you all you should need to know to implement it.
Turning that into sourcecode is your job, it's also rather trivial.

jwenting 1,905 duckman Team Colleague

A compiler transforms code into something that can be executed by something else.
Thus a Java compiler will take Java sourcecode and transform it into classfiles for execution by a Java Virtual Machine.
A crosscompiler is a special case of a compiler that compiles sourcecode into executable code for another platform, allowing you to for example compile Mac executable code under Windows.

What you're describing as finding transforms Java sourcecode into sourcecode in some other language. That's neither a compiler nor a cross compiler, it's a transpiler.
Of course if a runtime environment takes source code as its input and executes it a transpiler could be a compiler as well. A transpiler that produces Python or Ruby sourcecode would be an example of this.

Many people have written compilers in Java that produce Java bytecode for a variety of programming languages.

I don't know how university schedules run overseas, but in the US the semester is over and that has probably reduced the homework help posts quite a bit.

High school exam season has started here, so all the "final year projects" are failed for a while.
Normal homework goes on for the lower years of course.

Universities here typically work in trimesters rather than semesters, but I think they too are in a cycle of written exams now rather than lab work (and in my experience most students at our universities are rather better motivated than the average homework kiddo and won't dump their assignments on some forum).
Of course I'd not call any educational institution handing out homework assignments of the type dumped here by kiddos to be a university. It's stuff for a first year introductory course maybe, or a mid level highschool class, certainly not a graduation style project for university students.
