I've re-installed it 5 -6 times same disc, same machine. I have had to call to get the code reset, but it never costed me anything.

If you want Service pack 2, you can order the disc for free from Bill Gates & Company. give it a week and boom, you don't have to worry about dial up or loosing internet connections or anything. The disc is free, so I had no complaints.
