Uh, I'm make a big mistake lol. I've ordered 512mb of DDR Ram when my system only takes SDRAM. the RAM I have atm is 144-pin whereas the RAM i've ordered is 200pin. The question I'm asking is, will this RAM run at all in my system?
Did you type the URL directly in? For example www.mywebserver.com/index.aspx if that works, then the reason you aren't seeing your page by just typing www.mywebserver.com is because the page name hasn't been added in in IIS. Go into IIS, locate your website, right-click, go to properties click on the documents tab go to add and add your document "*mypage*.aspx". If this doesn't solve the problem, could you please go through the steps you did in order to publish the site on your web server, usually, you just:
go to Project>copy project type in your url for your web server Use frontpage web access method Copy only the project files needed to run this application
if that doesn't work, could you please explain what method you used in publishing and the exact error.

How do I go about creating a windows application that converts strings to sha1 encrypted? All I want this program to do is have a user type in their password, click a command button "Convert" and have a label come up with the now SHA1 encrypted string. Tag-board is actually more like a chat engine, except it doesn't refresh the message box. If you want to pay, you can upgrade it to a chat that auto refreshes. However, you're after a message board. that was the first thing i did, thanks anyways. Looks like I lost my data, I've ordered another hdd as well as some more RAM, whenever something breaks I like to upgrade a bit lol. I've also ordered an external usb HDD case and a HDD for backups. I'll be using that in my desktop PC further on down the track, as in, I'll be using the HDD inside the machine.
