So here's the deal -- I'm dual-booting Mac OS X and Windows XP on my MacBook. On Mac OS X, I have the clock synced to network time. And, being a good Unix system, it sets the system time to GMT. That's all fine and dandy until I install Windows, …
That's because Microsoft intentionally MADE it hard.
That statement is completely ridiculous. Any anonymous remailer will work. Usually it involves sending to a special address, which relays the message while stripping the header (and adding its own).

I would assume the original poster just moved the music files to where iTunes expected them (which varies depending on your setup). Anyway, if you're experiencing problems, you should create a new thread describing exactly what's happening and what you did, instead of bumping a 3 year-old thread.

What version of OS X was installed prior to 10.4.6? First thing you should try is updating to the latest version of OS X, 10.4.10. Then see if anything changed.

Offering to give someone "credit" in return for an article that they voluntarily wrote is not likely to attract very many skilled writers. Try to come up with some bonus or benefit, because people aren't just going to endlessly supply you with content.

If the main reasoning behind a "test" forum is that it's going to increase the usage of code tags and/or improve the overall quality of posts, I think that idea is dead wrong. The 'Preview Post' button in the advanced editor should be sufficient for double-checking one's post. And you're …

This problem has been repeatedly happening to me over the past few days. It occurs most often when I'm switching browsers, which shouldn't be a problem since this site, to my knowledge, does not use cookie-based tracking on logged-in members. It would be rather nice to have this fixed.

Ubuntu is actually considered one of the easiest Linux distros to use, so I don't really know what to suggest. The fastest way to learn *nix is to emerge yourself in it, and using 'easy' distros like Mandriva, SUSE, etc. do not teach you very much about it. You should …

For configuring GRUB to boot your operating systems properly, you'll need to play around with the [INLINECODE]/boot/grub/menu.lst[/INLINECODE] file. What does it look like at the moment, and which partition(s) contain which operating systems? An additional note, on Linux you can back up the executable code section of your boot sector …
