are you sure that was all in the log file because that looks ridiculously short.

where did you get these iso's and what are you burning it with. did you buy them or get them illegaly.

get a program like nero, daemon toolz, or alcohol 120% and mount the iso to a virtual drive then double click the virtual drive click on the setup file inside the cd and then it should ask you if you want to upgrade.

To keep your windows xp running at better speeds there are some visual styles that you can disable to make your speed increase. Certain things like slide menus into view and show windows content while dragging are really just stupid effects that dont matter.

To turn off and on visual styles right click the my computer icon then select properties in the drop down list. a window will apear select the advanced tab then clcik settings underneath the performance section. Once you clcik the settings button a new window will apear there will be three tabs at the top if you are not already in it then select the visual effects tab. There are 4 options there they are 'let windows decide what's best for my computer', 'best appearance', best performance, and customize. the first 2 options are the same thing and are exactly how your windows should look when you install it. the third option runs your computer in classic mode which looks like the older version of windows. So like it says if you want best performance you should like that but if you still want to keep some xp style on your computer then you should customize.
here is a list of effects that are unnecessary (all effects are unnecessary but you wont like the look without some of them):
Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing
fade or slide menus into view
fade or slide tooltips into view

Personally i dont like norton i preffer mcafee. norton has too much stuff that doesnt really do anything. Like the internet security i have plenty of internet security becuase i know how to get rid of stuff plus i run kerio professional firewall.

no what i meant by it took me a long time to make it look like the halo text is that i had to add effects to it and a special coloring to it to make it look like the official 'halo' text on the game.

oh yeah schilling is hurt so now we are on the ropes. The say lieber cant do it twice and that if schilling needs to be taken out we still have arroyo, timbland, and wakefield so we are set for pitching now all we have to do is step up to the plate and actually get some hits.

well most of the time it is hard to tell but probably if your computer starts to slow down and then you get a lot of errors or blue screens then your computer will probably crash a lot. If you ever get an error that a program had to end its self then you should reboot and if you recieve blue screens of death then yo need to check your memory and your drivers. The best way to prevent against crashes is to do anti-virus scans, spyware scans and make system restore points before either modifying your registry or installing any major programs.

by the looks of this file you are running kazaa or a similiar program if you are stop kazaa and many other p2p clients fill your computer with spyware and ads.

also you have such a jumbled log it is hard to tell what is wrong did you do an ad-aware scan, a spybot scan, and an anti-virus scan before posting this log. it would also help if you didn't have so many extra buttons and extra menus on your browser.

hey where did you put your wallpapers i couldnt find them and how did you write your sites name in the halo text is that a font you can download or a special photoshop type of effect.

yeah you added a flash intro and you said you finished your wallpapers but i cant find them anywhere. You need to make the option to skip the intro. And there is a link about background music but i couldnt hear it. i di put a link from my site to your site if you go into the gaming section and scroll over related links a little side box comes out then press the one that says halo.

hammy i went to your site ages ago or is this a different hammy why wouldnt you just log in. i put a link to your halo2 site on my gaming section which is only half complete.

i think that the servers for halo are really bad there is barely ever over a hundred of them and i am running dsl 768k with halo on dsl/cable high and every server that shows the latency(most of them dont) is like 200

i dont know what it is but the red sox just can not beat the yankees i mean 3 straight loses in the playoffs that is ridiculous. I just hate the yankees so much and i thought we would crush them with schiling but then he got hurt and lost the first game. Then i was alright maybe pedro can pitch good wich he did but then we got no hits nobody on the sox was hiting well enough that is just sad because pedro only pitches good when it counts. Then today 19-8 that is embarrasing. Hopefully we will win game 4 and then win the rest. Sorry i know some of you guys live in other countries and probably has no idea what i am talking about.

you dont get it you said you did that and post three different logs that all show internet explorer running hit ctrl+alt+delete then goto processes and select then iexplorer.exe then hit end process and say yes to the little pop up.

you better remove this before you get banned this forum does not allow talking about p2p programs and the mention of illegal games is ot good either you could get yourself and this site in trouble.

try scanning again but turn off internet explorer via the taskmanager before you do. and post the whole hijackthis log it looks like a lot of stuff is missing.

yeah i have just started web design and i am not that great i would like to learn how to use css better does anybody no any good tutorials if it is in video format that would be awesome. when i said that they look different in ie it is because when i uploaded from dreamweaver i looked at my site in firefox and just recently saw what it looks like in internet explorer i tried to level it out using contribute but then the same thing happened now somethings look worse in mozilla (the worst problem i have right now is that in ie the text always get bigger and bolder than the original).

most of my sites look a lot worse in internet explorer for some reason
and isnt just finding things online that i like just stealing ideas from other ppl and not doing your own creative work.

my friend has a band names eating mr anderson (yeah the name is weird but they are good). now he has an old site which is http://www.geocities.com/eatingmranderson and he does not maintain the content himself so he asked me how you would do that and i gave him some books on html and general web design.

you need to rip a dvd onto the computer and then convert it to quicktime. I do not know any ripping programs that copy dvds into quicktime maybe dvdxcopy but that has been recently taken off the market so i suggest ripping with dvdshrink and converting into quicktime. Just so people here dont bash me for talking about dvd copying i should tell you that backing up dvds that you own in case the originals get damaged is not illegal only copying dvds that you do not own or selling copies of dvds that you own is illegal.

most dvd ripping programs transfer files into vob format so you are probably going to need to get a program that converts vob to mov most dvd ripping programs are illegal to sell at stores now but if you are looking for a program to just back up the dvds you all ready own then i recommend dvd shrink.

spyware doctor is a pretty good program but it cost money if you learn how to use hijackthis effectively then that is the best program. The best thing to do is to try to block out spyware on your comp before it gets there for that there is spyware blaster (free) and norton internet security (expensive).

i agree with the piracy statement you made cain i am all for that and off the record i will say that i never pay for movies games or apps. this the last time i want illegal files mentioned here we could get into serious trouble on the forum.

next time please dont past your hijackthis log all spaced out like that i dunno about everyone else but to me it is really annoying since i am used to looking at them regulary. there some other things that look a little suspicous but i will wait until someone with more experience like crunchie have a look at it.
