I have a problem with a Dell Computer (My Brothers Computer)

And it had a Aureal 8830 Sound Card and i had problems with it. So just now i take that one out and put this other Sound Card in it this is whats the computer is From www.Belarc.com

The Audio Looks Like its Playing But no Sound
Yes the Drivers are installed.

Whats the problem with my Sound Card or why cant i hear anything?

Did you first properly uninstall the drivers for the previous card?

What you've displayed here http://img289.echo.cx/img289/713/dell60pt.jpg is the sofware 'mixer' installed with the card. Check the Windows volume control and also any advanced 'options' in the mixer (the toolkit button) to see if you have any settings for 'mute' which are in conflict with each other, or which are in place when you don't want them to be.

Also check the diagrams in the user manual for your soundcard to ensure that speakers are correctly attached. I've seen even OEM SB Live! cards which have had the wrong colour coding used for the connectors ;)
