Dude seriously to save you "time" & "effort" I highly would recommand a format seriously. Only takes 45 mins I think it is time for it seriously man & if you never reformated then we go from there.

I got this new KVM Switch 5 Ports and with 2 10-foot cables.
Now the picture quality sucks. I got used to it now after one day. Someone told me it's because of the cables but how can 2 cables be bad. Maybe it is the KVM Switch it's self?
Anywho they are fat SVGA cables. Let me know what you guys think it is.

Some truth in that but other then that I dont buy it. I am putting my 2 cents in first Novell is old yes CNE places that want that cert are places that are willing to pay you more then $120,000 a year. CNE's are so rare now that people who have that are something. Such as yourself what are you 3.0 Cert of earlier?

Active Directory/Domains are shitty compared to mangement in Novell. I dont know if you ever used a box like Windows 2000 Advanced Server but you notice once you add more then about 50 people to it your screwed. The thing with Novell is you add 4000 users no problem but with Windows 2000 sure you can add 5000 users using batch files but watch what happens when they all connect one by one or all at the same time. UNIX is cool but not close to Novell yes I was doging Novell but it is still my fav NOS and yes I run Windows 2000 Server at home because I need the services they offer WINS/DNS/DHCP but beyond that I can do other …

BTW Novell has services for UNIX/MAC/WINDOWS but dude so does Windows that have the lovely File Print Services for Macintosh File Services for Machintosh and Print Services for UNIX!!! Wow MS is just the ideal OS now.

I really love novell but I it seems to be dieing and dieing by the day because of lack of the people using it and or knowing it and the pricing kills it more then everything. I am for Novell just saying my point that it is dieing and I finally see this now. Only large companies and mid sized yes but no body is upgradeing no more nobody goes to 6 because of the price next thing you know there at a penny for stocks and there gone. Tek I dont want to make you made I am a Novell freak big time. I respect Novell but it seems like there going down slowly even though they released Novell 6 sometime early last year. Novell is best for managing users but the cost of it is just not worth it no more.
People have a hard time with Windows 2000 Server as it is, and have a hard time buying it. $1000!!! (10) your crazy. Novell is like (25) $4600.
The only companies I see using Novell are big companies Courts/Hosiptals otherwise there gone man. I see less and less of there stuff and these places if your lucky you see Novell 5.0

I was reading my post I posted a while back and I kinda take that back Mac's are good I know I worked on them for 2 years at work. I have 2 Mac's PowerPC's 7200
Reason: They were a complete package the whole computer for $50 I like having more and more computers at home so I bought two of them before I quit.
Macs are great for certain things but I wont be able to handle Mac's or Linux at this point I have too many pieces of software that only run on Windows which is sad but sorry Apple/UNIX I dont favor you at all any more.
Well time is coming by next year our computers are going to be a big heavy paper weight. I should say late next year. First there designing a new medal that will be like no other for computers. 8MB cache seems super high and super good when it's super crappy. By next year there bumping cache way high. 2MB cache just plain a bad idea.

DVD/CDRW burners are becoming more and more popular this is going to change everything. They are starting with a new standard a Blue Laser instead of a Red Laser the difference think of a used old pencil compared to a sharp brand new pencil. The Blue laser being the sharp new pencil. They are saying 50GB on one DVD with the blue laser. By next year I am saying at least 50GB-100GB on a DVD and 500GB hard drives are coming. I say 2004 1TB hard drives will be out and will be killer!!! This 20GB/40GB/60GB/80GB/100GB/120GB I just find a waste it's either you have too little or not enough. 1TB will be a good amount finally as long as they dont fail.
