what build of windows are you using?
well the best thought i had was remote boot as ive seen this help in alot of the time >.>
backup to be honest i have no clue usualy on my pc i just move everythi8ng to an extra drive
before you go starting to backup your files, do you know anyone eles with a g5 with osx .X because you could use the remote boot feature :)
you hsouldnt have been able to view anything in there before >.>
removing system restore is NEVER a good idea, as it is probally one of windows better features that will help you if you do manage to fux sumthing up, id suggest leaving it.
try to reget the uninstall file >.>
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add Remove programs
glad to be of some help :)
im not anygood with php scripts in general, i didnt get a chance to look over it but i didnt see anything that made sure not to regerage images over and over >.> so i was just adding my two cents :)
run program you wish to messeage on seperatly :)
ive never liked multi client messnegers :)
why not use mysql or another type of DB to store a generate images, so that theyre only generated once
not from more than a few years ago, alot of OLD pcs didnt have this :) enabled by default
i will give LCD's credit where its deserved >.> however they are not all that great at this current point in time unless your using one made for a mac
woudlnt this become server intensive over time if you had a high trafic site?
the system volume folder is a system folder that i belive is always in use, you shouldnt be able to access it as it contains infomation about how the drive is setup and the partition and such, messing with it would be a bad idea
theres no real way to log it >.> it was never intended for use as an instant messenger
thats my point, no one used it, or at least i never thought anyone did >.>
yes, not exctly at the same time, however, it is usualy only one of a kind with out an external manager, for example you can run one copy of windows 9X (95 98 ME) one copy of NT (2k 2k3 XP ) and probally multiple copys of Linux
windows should always be installed before linux because linux will isntall a boot manger
there are probally permissions settings effecting you some where down the trees
eh, dont bother, laptop monitors are ok at best, most dont beat a CRT
best bet is to ger rid of windows me >.> and upgrade to a better os
other than that, when you plug a usb device in the for first time it gets autmatcily installed, so if you remove the devices and reboot, if they all dont come back at the startup, just plug them ina gain :)
personally i never really used the briefcase thingie >.>
trillain is loved by some and hated by some, its a 50/50
trillain also doesnt support all the features that all the sepearte programs do, id rather use miranda over trillain ;)
id suggest upgrading to MSN MESSENGER 6.1 and do you have a firewall? it may be disallowing you to send via msn's ports
try booting into safe mode, have you installed anything in the last few days that might have changed any vital system files?
first ditch windows meadia player >.> id suggest winamp 2.91 over it, trillian ? what build?
IE with some java / activex / flash has been known to make a pc use 100% of its proc power
that would be my best guess, you didnt update your bios settings so the pc is not decting the hd to boot from it as it still thinks its the older hd
A- linux
B-win2k3
D- win xp home
X1/X2- win2k3A is my gateway/194.186.0.1, secondary NIC x.x.x.9 connects to my ISP
B uses x.x.x.2
D uses x.x.x.5
X uses x.x.x.3 and x.x.x.4 (2 NICS on-board)
A,B,D,X are connected to a switch
A can ping to A,B,D
B can ping B,A,D
D can ping D,A,B
X1 can ping X1
X2 can ping X2D is a test machine with the wire normally used on X1.
So X1 has been replaced by D to test the line/switch(port)/..Drivers have been reinstalled and also updated.

i can connect from various other systems to the linux, including one that uses win2k3 also.I know for sure my tcp/ip (static ip, gateway, dns) settings are filled in correctly.
Cable is ok and there are 2 onboard NIC's, both don't work so i guess it;s software.I was on the internet with it, so it worked fine untill i restarted after having installed and removed a few things.
I think i have installed something that blocks or i have removed something that allows incoming pings.
Any suggestions on what could block or is there a tool to see if it's getting blocked?
Any suggestion on how to solve this is appreciated.
if you do not restart a switch after pluggin and unpluggin things the mac tables will not be cleared ;)
id suggest gettin a router
i cant think of anything that would cause this problem besides maybe a incorrect registry setting maybe?
have you installed anything to tweak ie?
are you planning on overwriting windows xp? to have a multi boot system with no external boot manager your going to need to install os's in order of age
