Re: Typically, the passwd keeps the UID's of users, if your using winbind however, it will probably be controlled by the domain controller, if you do a getent passwd do you see the users and their UID's? And did you restart the winbind daemon after making the changes? | |

Today, google released a new service, which I believe will be the best one yet! They released their new service TISP ([U][url=http://www.google.com/tisp]http://www.google.com/tisp/[/url][/U], which is a free wireless internet service. I think this has to be one of the greatest services/products ever created by google! | |

Re: Well, only kinda. The problem here is that Firefox 2 just came out, so a lot of the distrobutions don't have a package put together for it, where as opera, makes their own packages. OS's like gentoo already have it easily accessable though :) | |
