I have not done anything at all to this webpage recently. I check it regularly and the there is never a problem with the AdSense ads just like with my other pages on this website. But I checked it today and for the last few hours, there is a blank space where the AdSense ads should be. I checked the other pages on the website and the AdSense ads on them are all OK. Does anyone have an idea what it may be? This webpage has been up for years. Health Benefits of Green Tea

Is it possible the first time I went to it there was a glich and the computer put the page in memory and then whenever I check it, it gives me the bad page from memory?

Some people can see the video and others cannot. My friend sent links to videos on theypi. He could see all of them but others could not including me. But the others have Windows 7 and he had Windows XP so we figured that that was the difference. The poeple with Windows 7 could see some but not others. Now my friend has a new computer with Windows 7 and he can see them all but we can only see some of them.

Here is one that he can see but 3 others and I cannot see it. http://theypi.net/video.php?title=A-Minutes-Peace&id=162

I have had no problems with my computer at all. So you are saying that that page is a scam. If it is, then I should notify Microsoft, Right?

But the sale was not available when you click on the premium one. It does not say get it at the sale price while it lasts. It was the regular price of $49.95 at the same time as the sale price. But you only get the sales price if you decide that you want the free version and click on the free version.

You only see the above if you click on the free version, not that version. That is like a salesman giving you one price and lowering when you say "no." Although I guess this is how it works when they sell cars. I guess that this is the internet version of haggling. Bargaining or haggling is a type of negotiation in which the buyer and seller of a good or service dispute the price which will be paid and the exact nature of the transaction that will take place, and eventually come to an agreement.

My subscription to Norton was up so I looked on this to see what would be good for free. Now the following is not unethical but it is still funny how there is a price for the rich and a price for the poor. I went to Avast and it had the free protection and the premium protection for $49.95.

Now I guess the people who have plenty of money will just pick out the premium protection. I like to look at all of my options. Now when I clicked on the information about the free protection, it has a box that pops up. I guess they figure that these are the people who do not have a lot of money. The box offers you the $49.95 premium protection for $19.95 since you cannot afford the full price. I had never seen this before and found it interesting.

Thanks for all of the advice. Note that I have Widnows 7 with 64 bit. It sounds like the best paid one to get is Kaspersky. What is the best free one to get? Could you give me links to both of them so I do not go to a fake anti-spyware site that tries to infect my computer. Is the free one good enough that I do not need Kaspersky.

Also I read that Windows 7 has Defender but I guess that is turned off when you put on something like Norton.

My computer is less that a year old and is Windows 7 with 64 bit. Also my question was if this means that my computer is infected or not. It is a general question. Is there something wrong if on the last step with the last file it comes up with 4 infected and 4 removed, even if I do it 3 times in a row? I guess I can try the suggestions on that link even if I do not know if my new computer is infected.

There was a time when Drexel University in Philadelphia was one of the first colleges using computers. You had to punch holes in a stack of cards and then feed them to the computer to communicate with it.

Actually it is debatable if University of Pennsylvania had the first digital computer.

The ENIAC was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and began construction in 1943 and was not completed until 1946. It occupied about 1,800 square feet and used about 18,000 vacuum tubes, weighing almost 50 tons. Although the Judge ruled that the ABC computer was the first digital computer many still consider the ENIAC to be the first digital computer.

See our ENIAC dictionary definition for additional information about this computer.

Because of the Judge ruling and because the case was never appealed like most we consider the ABC to be the first digital computer. However, because the ABC was never fully functional we consider the first functional digital computer to be the ENIAC.

A psychopath will never view himself as one. Those questions are too subjective. For example the one with over-inflated self-worth. No matter how big it is, the psychopath will never think it is over-inflated. For example AH did have long term goals and plans. He may have even thought that he would be the richest and most powerful man on the planet in modern history. Also AH had plans to make the world a much better place in his opinion.

He did become the richest and most powerful man in modern history. He actually owned several countries and all the people in them like Germany, France, Poland and Austria. AH stands for Adolf Hitler. Now I think that I am trying to do a good thing by wiping out breast cancer in North America. It is my opinion that it would be a good thing but only time will tell. Is it an over-inflated goal? Only time will tell.

GoodLuckChuck 0 Junior Poster in Training

That is in the calender that some people on the planet have created. There is nothing cosmic about it. But if something does happen, it will happen at 10:00AM (the tenth hour). But is that their time EST, GMT-- I do not know.

In the summer of 2005, I found a computer that my neighbors threw away while moving out. I brought it in and learned about being online, SEO and web design and now make my living being on the internet. Most of my income is from Google Adsense. I went to the Google meeting and met Dani there. I prefer to work for myself than to work for a company.

Now that I have acheived that, I am now off to bigger and better things like Bill Gates. I am now trying to end breast cancer in North America. The information is there. All that is left is for people to know about it. According to Harvard the side effect of the above will be to reduce other non-skin cancers by 77%.

I was looking at the Kindle since I am an associate of amazon.com and was wondering about surfing the web. But it surfs the web in black and white, no color. I saw that one thing that iPad is good at is watching Youtube videos. I definitely do now want to watch videos in black and white.

GoodLuckChuck 0 Junior Poster in Training

I did not know that you could use the Kindle 3 to surf the internet. Was that the case with the first 2? I don't think they made the iPad for reading books. But when it comes to surfing the internet in good lighting situations, the iPad works very well. It actually makes surfing the internet more fun or maybe it is the novelty. One article said that since the iPad is new, it will get some improvements soon just like the Kindle has improved. Maybe the iPad3 will be good in sunlight.

Ubuntu Linux is very similar to Windows and computers like Dell sell computers with it on them. Since it is free, the computers are cheaper but I have read articles about how they are not eager to sell them. If the malware becomes a problem for many more people, then many more people will switch.

Super-fast and great-looking, Ubuntu is a secure, intuitive operating system that powers desktops, servers, netbooks and laptops. Ubuntu is, and always will be, absolutely free.

I saw what you said on Twitter. This is an exciting thing for you to be able to do an interview with him. Steve Wozniak was one of the group of a dozen people that I saw in a magazine that are responsible for making the computer and therefore the internet available to the common person. That group (including Bill Gates) were so geeky looking.

It will be a great interview to read or watch if you get it on video. Sorry I do not have any questions since I am relatively new to computers and the internet. I got a computer in 2005. Before that I just read lots of books. But I still like books and am reading one by Gary Kasporov, the best chess player ever. He was the youngest world champion ever (age 22). But I digress.

Just do not get too excited in case it does not happen. I do not want you to get your heart broken. You have an exciting occupation. If it is possible then I feel that you will get to interview him since you are an endearing person. Endearing-- adorable: lovable especially in a childlike or naive way, having characteristics that attract love or affection;

No it is not bad for SEO. Before I submit an article, I put it on my site first so my site gets the credit for being the original source. Of course if you can change it a little before submitting it (I do this) then that is better since it is not a duplicate.

It takes a little extra time but then both are then original content. If you cannot then it is still not bad, it is neutral (not good or bad).

GoodLuckChuck 0 Junior Poster in Training

When it comes to a blog or website that you own (where you own the domain name) then everyone says that it is wordpress. You cannot own a blog on blogger. They can take it away from you anytime that they want since they own it.

Now with wordpress it is awesome how many different great things that you can do with it but I guess that makes it much more complex than blogger. Actually the site below in my signature is blogger. Now they are supposed to have all these cool things that you can add to it, but when I try to add them, it does not work. So I think that it has bugs in it when it comes to blogger's gadgets.

But if you do not want one that you own and just want to get one right now that you can start using, then get blogger.

Original content is always good. That means that you wrote it and so it is no where else on the internet. Now the duplicate content that is copied from somewhere else on the internet is not bad since it will not hurt you. But it is not good and will not help you since search engines do not want to give someone 2 or more webpages that have the same information on it.

So search engines show only the first one to put up that information. Now when I say 'information', I am not talking about ideas that cannot be copyrighted. I am talking about the sequence of words that can be copyrighted.

So if you write "would a rose by any other name smell so sweet" it is all over the internet since Shakespeare wrote it. It is duplicate content. But if you write "If you call a rose something else, it will still look and and smell just as good", then that is original content since I just made it up or put it in my own words. So it is original content that is good.

People say that I have a stream of conciousness writing style. That is great for SEO and original content since people who write like that can write much more information in a shorter amount of time than people who write without that style.

For beautiful looks and great movies I like the model Milla Jovivich. She was the star of The Fifth Element and the 4 Resident Evil movies with the 4th one coming out now.

For great looks I like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Renée Zellweger and Selma Blair. Selma Blair is Jewish and she was also in the Legally Blonde movies.

I like to use the internet to make money. I love information about science that applies to health, healing and happiness so I have read hundreds of books on it. Then I created a few websites to put that information on. To do that I had to learn about html and SEO. So now I am still learning about those same things (like health) but get the very latest information by using the internet. Then I add that new information to my websites. Then also I have a blog on Google's blogspot or blogger (see below in my signature) where I can write about whatever I feel like writing about.

They announced this on the TV News last night. I put it up as a news story but they moved it here. It was on one of the main 3 broadcast channels (NBC). They said that it would save people 3 seconds in their search. I had gotten tired of moving my cursor over to SEARCH and clicking it so I would just press ENTER.

As an example in my area channel 10 is NBC but I had forgotten that since many years ago NBC and CBS switched the numbers. So I went to do a Google search for it and typed "philadelphia channel 10". Now before I could type anything else or click ENTER it said in the search box "philadelphia channel 10 NBC". So that is awesome. It did save me time.

I did mention in my article a drawback for people who are offended by profanity. If you type in shitzu dog or shitake mushroom then after typing 4 letters you will get the search results for **** for a second. I do agree that they should allow people to have a choice to use it or not. Or as they say in that burger commercial "have it my way."

GoodLuckChuck 0 Junior Poster in Training

Before when you did a search with Google, you type in what you want and then click SEARCH or hit the ENTER key. Now they attempt to read your mind. As you are typing the letters, they are doing the searches for you. So the second step has been eliminated. Although what if someone is offended by profanity and they want to search for shitzu dogs. They type in S H I T Z U. I tried it and for the first 4 letters there is nothing right at the top, but if you scroll down you get the first 4 letters with this (**** That My Dead Says) in several places. Although with this new method, some are bound to find some good things that they were not even searching for.

Also I was at a blog where someone was explaining the new "wonder wheel" function that Google search has now. It gives you other keywords associated with yours. They were very impressed with this. My comment was that I do not think that Wonder Woman had a wonder wheel but I know that Xena has a chakram (metal wheel) that she throws. Her reply was something like "Chuck, you crack me up. My Xena-loving daughter will love this comment of yours."

Great video! It talks about getting to fake anti-virus sites from searches done. I have seen search results on Google where they have the result up there but there is a warning not to go there due to malware. Of course it makes sense for anyone with a PC to have good anti-virus software already on it. I have seen these warnings with pictures that Google has for search results. I have clicked on to see what happens and my anti-virus software blocks it.

Also I read that Windows 7 has anti-spyware software built in callled defender. I tried to use it to do a scan but it was turned off. So I figured that when I installed the Norton Anti-Virus, that it turned off defender.
