As Rik said, there is no driver for windows 98. Maybe you would like to upgrade your OS to windows 7. it is much better, you can just get the installation disk.

Operating system not found means either your hard disk have crashed or your OS was corrupted but there are other too. What OS are you using? You actually do not need a new hard disk, you can try restore your system before the problem happen if not maybe try to see whether you can re format your disk. But doing a re format will mean you will lose all data previously on the laptop. We only advise to do a reformat at the last option. So don't reformat now. We will find other methods for you first..

How about using a newer version, maybe the problem has to do with your current word version. It might be a bit old to support the font style so when you open it the font style changes because the old word version don't support the current font style in your word document.

I am now using roccat, a very fast browser for mac. i deleted stainless because the speed when browsing the web is pathetically slow. Stainless uses a google search engine but you can change it to bing or yahoo. Click on this link to find out more

Both, that means he need to use different methods. First let's start with the private network. Create a private network and tell us whether it works and see whether you can share files. if cannot we will help you with it, after sharing files is solved. You are starting to confuse me. Do you want to share internet or share files. Both are different things. Sharing files like what Kraai said can create a private network so those who have the password can enter the network and within it, you can share files between laptops. Sharing internet is a different thing. It means one computer sharing internet access with another so both computers can access the internet. From the previous posts, you seem to be sharing files not internet. So which do you want?
