help!!!
whenever i try to disconnect from net my pc locks up! any ideas?
(please) Dsl connection 1Mb onboard sound & graphics 512 memory 2.6 intel processor

sorry what I meant was: if Itry to use any applications whilst connected the machine freezes, Ihave discovered that it is something called svchost.exe
so if I end that process then all is ok. but what is it and what does it do.
Ps removed IE and now using firefox
