my windows 2000 computer has an error that "missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe"... i dont have erd. i tried to used windows 2000 installer but it doesnt continue...

my question is, can i used the ntoskrnl.exe of WIndows xp bootcd and copy the ntoskrnl.exe there in my windows 2000 operating system???
