Hi there,
I'm seeking the above to start networking with so I can send you leads to close.
You need to be able to get my customers in the escort industry & other areas of the adult industry merchant accounts without ripping them off.
If all you care about is money, money & more money, then you are not for me.
I won't be providing tons of leads, but a few every month.
I need someone reliable, been in biz for a while, professional & friendly.
Shady mean characters need not reply.
Pls. PM me with your experience in this area, why you feel we should work together & let's make some money together :)
Michelle
Hi there,
I wish I would have had that link ages ago & yes, I have had problems with what you mentioned.
There are times that when it gets bogged down, that if I X out of it, but don't close down all the other e-mails that have windows open or I have "find" windows open & then I reload OE, it doesn't show me all the e-mails.
It will pick a day & give me only up to that day which could be 1-2 days earlier or even a year earlier.
Then I have to close down all the windows & then restart it to get ALL the e-mails.
It's very very frustrating & I can't believe no one has created an e-mail program that works well with an office.
I'm not a large corporation by any means, but with all the stuff I subscribe to & running a biz, I'm well over 11,000 e-mails in my inbox & that's not including all the e-mail in all the folders I have under "Local Folders".
Thanks
Michelle
Yes I had a feeling OE was the real problem, but if the memory is a problem, that needs to be resolved too.
Question... Since OE is too jr. a program for me, any suggestions on which e-mail program to switch to that has all the features OE has & more?
I have been looking for a while, but nothing seems to be there.
Is Outlook better, or is it just OE with a few extra features I don't really need like the reminder etc.?
TB won't work b/c it's still too buggy & when I went to import all my e-mails, it wouldn't import the "sent" folder which is crucial for me.
Thanks :)
Michelle
No offence meant here, but all programs use RAM and rely on the physical memory working correctly. This has nothing to do with Java in particular, and additionally, since ep2002 has indicated that the problem is only with OE, that would not point to a problem with RAM in general.
This might shed some light on the real root of the problem though:
If your problems really are only with OE, and you're also asking OE to deal with a very large number of messages, the cause is almost certainly not due to bad or mismatched RAM, but rather the fact that Outlook Express has known limitations in terms of the maximum size of its folders (Inbox, etc.). Iif you have allowed a …
Hi there,
I suddenly realiazed that in my LONG list of e-mail address, OE is not DLing 3 of the e-mail addy's e-mails when it does it's "receive" every 5 minutes. This was never a problem before :(
I now have to manually go in & click on "tool" "receive", go down to the e-mail addy in question & DL it like that.
I had 50 e-mail sitting in one area & 24 in another.
Very frustrating & shocking.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Michelle
Hi there,
Thanks for that.
I'll pass this along to my partner, but remember I'm in Canada, not the US & he told me that one company wouldn't even ship to Canada which is nuts IMO.
Have a great day :)
Michelle
Ok, we checked & this is what we have...
DDR 400 non ECC & my MB is supposed to take DDR 266, so is this going to be an issue?
They want like $200 for a 1GB stick :(
The problems I have are w/ OE. If I search & find too many different e-mails, it starts to crash & I have to close down ALL the OE windows including search boxes & then restart OE.
It's very annoying & time consuming, especially when I have to search thru local folders which has to search over 12,000 e-mails.
Thanks
Michelle
Hi there,
I'm having a problem that I thought was someone else's problem, but it's happened several times now with 2 different people.
They are e-mailing me saying they are replying to my e-mails, but when I get their e-mail, it comes as an attachment & instead of my previous e-mail being at the bottom of the e-mail.
This is becoming annoying. Any ideas?
Thanks
Michelle
Hi Crunchie,
Thanks for working on my baby.
I already have most of what I need, I just don't think they work very well, but let's cross our fingures b/c I have spybot now & spyware blaster.
Have a great day!
Michelle :)
Ok, so I clicked on enable protection after I went in & turned on IE & FF & Xed out of it. Is that ok?
How come I don't have to scan anything?
Btw, those things you want me to uninstall, they are never there, but I ran Loop again.
Here's the new HJT file & thanks :)....

Hi there,
How ya doing?
Spyware Blaster - but it wants me to check off for Active X & tracking cookies. Although I don't want all the ads, you can't surf online without cookies & I can't stand Active X, but some sites require it.
So what should I do?
As for Word, it's not only in word that it only opens in IE. That's what I'm saying & that doesn't explain why the person's file is closing down when I X out of the IE window.
I'm going to do the HJT thing & brb :)
Thanks
Michelle
My RAM is neither of those. Isn't that outdated RAM?
I have DDR RAM
Thanks
Michelle
Hi Crunchie,
Thanks a ton & just so you know, your ie-spyad link isn't working.
Ok back to my puter. I forgot to mention that the weirdest thing started happening a few days ago.
I review people's applications in Word & they have links in them. Now when I click on them, it opens up in IE :( & when I close the IE window, it also closes the file in Word. Do you have any clue what that is all about?
Also I just DLed the spyblaster which I think I had on my computer b4, but it caused me a lot of problems b/c it was blocking too many things that I needed access to.
Can you give me a brief rundown on how to set it up so I can actually use it & not get frustrated :) You must be the expert.
Ok, here's the log & have a great night....

:( What's wrong w/ FF????
I don't use IE. The only reason it is opened is b/c some of these bloody programs force it open like ICQ, Word, & some others.
I can't stand it & give people sh*t every time their site isn't compatible with FF, but I know FF still has bugs, like the scrollbar issue on my new forms.
Anyway it looks like the task bar that attached itself to IE is gone <phew> & so is the casio & dating BS icons on my desktop <thank you> & it seems faster, so I hope everything is clean.
I tried DLed some extensions from FF, but they don't seem to have attached themselves the proper area. I'll have to see if there is a setup program in my DLs folder.
Here's the new log file & thank yooooooooooooooooooouuuuuu :)

When I opened FF, something changed my homepage & NEVER EVER has FF done that to me, I've only had that problem w/ IE, so something I just did did that :(

I tried to delete all the files *.tmp as I did about 2 wks. ago, but just like 2 wks. ago I couldn't delte a ton of them b/c it says there is a shared violation.
It took me forever to try & delete them several at a time to get to the ones that weren't shared. Is there not another way or to make sure they aren't shared?
Same thing happened with this folder... C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp

Hi Eddie,
Wow, another spiritually conscious person on here. You are a first that I've seen LOL Love the music btw. Wish it was a little less fast so I could buy it for my nighttime sleeping, but it's nice to listen to while working.
Does that artist have any slower songs? You can PM me if you wish.
See the 2 aduio programs I mentioned in my original post? Those are the types of things I am looking at. I just didn't know which one to go with or if there were others that were better, did different things etc.
Not sure if they are written in DHTML as I'm still not sure what DHTML is. I'm still learning what XHTML is LOL
Thanks & sweet dreams
Michelle
Ok, this looks like this is for music, CDs & mixing.
I'm looking for audio for my site.
Thanks :)
Michelle
No, their customer service sucks. The 2nd time I dealt w/ them, it took them 2 wks. to return my e-mail & then they didn't seem to care that they screwed up.
I don't deal w/ businesses that don't care about their customers.
Thanks
Michelle
Yeh & Greenzap seems to be a scam from what my VA read.
I found one that's going to launch soon & you can pay worldwide w/ high risk accts. too.
If anyone wants me to let them know when, just PM me.
Thanks
Michelle
Thank you
Michelle
Ok, I did that, but how do I know if it worked?
I also DLed HJT b/c when I got a new computer 6 months ago it was lost.
Should I run it & send you the code?
I don't even remember how after all this time LOL
Thanks
Michelle
DLH - thanks for that. Wow, they charge yearly. Are you sure they are really that good?
Which spyware program do you recommend out of the list I scanned there?
Mine probably doesn't catch them b4 they come onboard.
Crunchie - If those online scanning programs are no good LOL, why'd you tell the other guy to run them? :)
Thanks guys
Michelle
Hey Crunchie,
Long time now talk :)
I have another post I typed up w/ your name in it :)
Ok, I searched for all of those & none are there.
Deleting just the file won't do the trick?
Thanks
Michelle
Hi All,
I saw that Crunchi posted this to another user & I decided to go ahead & try another anti virus sofware other than AntiVir just to see what it would come up with....

Please visit at least two of the following sites for an online virus scan:
BitDefender Free Online Virus Scan
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php
Make sure you tick AutoClean under Scan Options.
Panda ActiveScan
http://www.pandasoftware.com/active...n_principal.htm
Make sure you tick Disinfect automatically under Scan Options.
Housecall at TrendMicro
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/hou.../start_corp.asp
Make sure you tick Auto Clean.
When it completes, post back the full filename of any files that cannot be cleaned or deleted.
eTrust Antivirus Web Scanner

When I tried to run them from FF, they all said I have to be on IE (why is that?) & my bloody IE is infected once again with that bloody toolbar & I didn't want to open it. It's like a ticking time bomb.
I decided to open it anyway to hopefully solve the problem & then I realized it wanted me to DL the other anti virus programs, but you can't run more than one at the same time, so what should I do?
Also what do people here think about Anti Vir?
They pissed me off royally a few weeks ago b/c I was going to purchase their new paid software but b/c they …
Hi all,
I have been getting a lot of trojans lately which is pissing me off.
Does anyone know if the folder called Application data located in
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\GridSoftDupe needs to be on the computer.
In that bloody Grid Soft folder there was a trojan & I see other .exe files in there & want to just delete the folder.
Any help you can give me would be great.

Hi there,
Does anyone know anything about Solaris & whether it's easy enough for a non techi to install, operate, how stable it is, pros cons etc.?
Thanks

P.S. There is no Solaris section LOL (yet)
Yeh I'm a reseller too, but haven't made anything from them yet, so I'll just be keeping them around so I can sell.
Unfortunately I can not wait until Oct. I need a # now.
You should tell them to tell their receptionist that they will be offering it since she didn't give me all the information.
Later :)
Mich
I am a reseller for FV so I do know they are going to offer it soon. They might be doing it before October. I cannot remember if they are doing that along with the Web Conferencing / Phone Conferencing by then or not. That was why I said they will be offering it but I am not certain what areas either.
I do know Ray does though, I just cannot remember his pricing off hand
Corey I just called up FV yesterday - http://www.freedomvoice.com/view.cgi?page=index&g= & they told me they only offer toll free #s. I decided to give them a chance b/c I do have their package, but don't want to go the toll free route at this time.
I'll e-mail the other guy.
I've called several companies & $8.95 is the lowest, but they won't allow me to pick from several #s so I get a really easy one. That's an issue for me b/c I'd rather go with an easy # than a complicated one.
Thanks
Michelle
Freedom Voice is getting ready to offer local numbers also. We are actually doing a website now for a client in New York that offers a lot of services - local numbers being one of them. His email is rwardell (at) callclearvoice (dot) com - if you want to shoot him an email
Hi everyone,
I've been having problems with my machine for a while now even though we upgraded about 4-6 months ago.
OE keeps causing the machine to go nutso & most of the time I can get it under control & then it will do it again several hours later until I have to reboot.
It's so bad now, that I have to reboot once every 2 days instead of the once every week I had to reboot b4.
I'm on Win. 2000 Proffesional & I'm now using 1.0.4 of FF which has a lot of bugs I've noticed :(
I use OE only b/c TB sucks as an e-mail program.
I find it happens mostly when I have a lot of e-mail windows open, but it was never this bad b4.
Oh & I now have 1 GB memory & that's still not helping.
Oops, almost forgot. I scan regularly with Anti Spyware & Anti Virus & update too, so that's not the issue.
Please help :(
Thanks
Michelle
Thanks, but not only can you not listen to the messages on the phone as they only come via sound file in an e-mail, they charge you per minute even though it's not a toll free # LOL
Thanks for trying though
Michelle
Have you tried kall8.com? I have heard good things about them.
Isn't efax just for faxes?
I already use their free service for incoming faxes.
When I say local, I mean a # within the US.
Thanks
Michelle
You can also try eFax.com.. they are pretty good. Its not local but its not bad.
Hi all,
Well, I'm all ready to start purchasing from this company Access Line for their local phone number which includes one VM box & BAMMM, I'm told they don't want my money b/c I'm in Canada & their archaic payment system doesn't allow for Canadian addresses & they clearly won't even fix the problem.
Not only is that a terrible biz move b/c now they will lose money from not just me, but a lot of other people out there, but once again, it makes us Canadian businesses feel unwanted & unloved by some of these American companies that refuse to accept that we also have enterprising businesses & deserve the utmost respect.
So, can anyone recommend a company that actually wants my money & to do biz with me?
I just need a US phone number (I want an easy one that I already have picked out) & 1-2 VM boxes.
Thanks
Michelle :)
Hi all,
I'm about to decide on which audio program is the best.
Audio Generator or Instant Audio.
Anyone want to give me their opinion or recommend another one?
Thanks
Michelle :)
That's ok, but I never told the entire story.
That's just to get me launched, then I expect to start slowly & work the program up after I get my e-book redone by a DTPer I still haven't found yet <sigh> LOL
And yes, it is only 1-2 hrs., probably 30 minutes for someone who really knows what they are doing.
I did most of the work, someone else did some more & I have no idea what is left.
Everyone I've talked to is aware of the situation so there should be no reason to not do the work, but I'm clearly not going to pay $40 just to do 30 min. work. I'm not a large corporation.
Totally nuts.
Thanks
Michelle
Hi all,
I'm having a really hard time finding people who specialize in taking care of affiliate programs & know all the ins & outs.
I've posted on all the boards in the help wanted section, I've posted on bidding sites & on Craig's List. I've even searching on Yahoo for companies & they were nuts wanting $85/hr.
There's been hardly any response from the other sites or the ones that have responded don't seem to want to do the work or aren't hungry for the job. I even had one who had such a HUGE ego tell me I don't need to hire someone, I can do it all inhouse. I told him I'll make my own decisions thank you very much. (no kidding, the owner making her own decisions).
One didn't even think part of her job was to bring in more affiliates LOL
I'm a small company & won't pay $20-85/hr. I mean really, I'm initially looking for 1-2 hrs. work just to get the software set up & make sure I launch ok, then down the road we'll see what happens.
One thing I do want is someone experienced as I'm slowly learning all the ins & outs of what it takes to run a program.
Can anyone refer someone to me. At this point I'm thinking about hiring someone very jr. & paying them to train themselves. This is nuts & I've been looking for a few wks. …
Someone just installed http://www.punbb.org/ on my server. Any news about this one, as I think I'm going to need one for my affiliate program.
Thanks
Michelle
Hi there,
Ok, I need help from other programmers on creating a hiring ad looking for a programmer who knows MySQL/PHP very very well.
I know there are supposed to be 3 different areas I need the programmer to have & some don't have them.
1. The DB Design
2. The Coding
& what was the 3rd thing?
What else should I put in the ad?
Security?
Any help would be much appreciated.
I need someone good who isn't going to charge an arm & a leg & allow me to give them a deposit while paying it off plus grow with my company & me.
Thanks & I hope everyone is having a great wknd. :)
Michelle
Also I said PM & you didn't therefore I don't deal with people who don't follow instructions.
Hi there all,
I'm about to develop a site with a DB backend & I want to know how one goes about doing organic SEO if most of the site is DB driven.
There will be some text on the page, but certain things that are pulled from the DB, won't actually be in html/xhtml on the site.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks & have a great wknd.

Hi there,
How's everyone doing?
Ok, being just a lowly biz owner LOL, I need someone who's an expert in MySQL/PHP to see if this guy is as good as his software seems.
I have no clue how to go about screening a programmer.
In fact I'd love to start a service where I offer that to customers.
What do you think?
Pls. PM me.
Thanks & have a great day people :)
Michelle
Hi there,
I need help pleaseeeee
I'm trying to make it so the items listed on my price list page http://www.exoticpublishing.com/price_list.php don't show up as red when I attach a link to them. See the ones in the boxes... Volume 1, 2 & so on?
Anyway someone told me to put this in my CSS page... .link a {color:#000;}
& then this around each item... <p class="link"> & then the </p> at the end of the item, but it's not working :(
Can someone help me asap. I need this done with in the next hour & if you just show me how to do one, I can do the rest.
Thanks :)
Michelle
Hi there,
I am having problems with my site regarding optimization & validation.
The last guy who worked on my site also didn't make sure the site was cross-browser compatible, so it looks off in IE, Opera & on a MAC. Others on XP & IE 6 are seeing such tiny text, they can't read the site plus the site is loading very slowly in dialup.
I have 2 sites that are relatively the same except for the copy & one image & I need someone who knows DW MX 2004 very very well because that is what I use to make changes plus all the pages are attached to DW templates.
I'm using CSS, xhtml & a bit of PHP, so I need an expert in those areas who prides themselves on W3C standards & works fast as this shouldn't take more than an hour or two.
Please PM me with your hourly rate & your experience with what I need above. Also please put this phrase "job-validation-optimization" in your subject line when PMing me, otherwise your PM will be deleted. I also don't need you to reply to this post in this thread, PMs will do fine.
I thank everyone in advance & wish you all the best
Michelle :)
Hi all,
Can someone help me pleeaaasssseee.
This guy did work on my site & he never cross browser checked it & I no longer use IE, so it wasn't till after I payed him that I realized he didn't do his job properly. Then he had the nerve to try & BS saying that WDs sometimes want their site to look different on each browser <sigh>, like I'm stupid or something.
I thought he ad fixed it, but now it's doing the same thing it was b4.
Anyway if you view my site www.exoticpublishing.com on FF & then on IE, you should see the differences.
1. The left nav links aren't bolded
2. For some reason the visited link is making them red, but not on FF
3. The bottom nav doesn't have as much open space as in FF & it's too close the bottom of the copyright area.
If you see anything else pls. let me know & if someone can please tell me how to fix this it would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks & have a great Friday!
Michelle :)
Actually I finally got http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?pr=1&id=66351 to put Pay Flow Link back up.
They had taken it down about 2 yrs. ago b/c Verisign was causing problems.
I searched high & low for an alternative that would give me everything their pro package offers & I couldn't find anything. Amazing how only one company offers all of that. I found one other site, but they didn't even have Versign on their list LOL
So, I FINALLY signed up 2 days ago.
Wish me luck with it :)
Michelle
Thanks guys. I am calling all customers now b4 I sent out my e-book. I paid a fortune for Verisign's Fraud Protection & Buyer Auth. Program.
Avi, have you noticed a decrease in fraud sales? How are you determining if it's working or not?
Verisign's sales dept. sucks the big one & got me soooo upset last month I was ready to walk, but I need to hold my temper after forking over $300, but it's expensive. I just paid almost $60 this month.
Thanks
Michelle :)
Hmmm, I kind of wanted the common theme thingy b/c I do click on AdSense ads when I am on other people's sites b/c they are relevant to what I'm seeking.
Oh well, I guess I can't be picky at this point, but I'll see what my VA comes up w/ based on the list I've compiled :)
Thanks
Michelle
I agree.
Good luck
Michelle :)
i was banking on the money from the ad's to get me dual xeons..
but because i got no cash from ads it was coming out of pocket..and i don't know about you but i can't really afford a $250 server cost every month..
Why did you have to run a shitty server just b/c they denied you the money? Were you banking on the money for a better server?
Thanks Jack, but I tend not to marry people I don't know. Just a small rule of mine :)
Sweet dreams everyone !
