By full screen do you mean maximized window or you want to have every window open as full screen ?

ntldr is the file that triggers the start of windows ... so its always needed to start windows .. you can just insert your windows xp cd in your cd rom and repair windows.

You can refresh the workgroup by remaking the workgroup again.

I use BW Meter.

After POST, press F8 and the advanced options will be displayed on the screen ... select last known good configuration ...

If it doesnt work then try booting into safe mode. If it doesnt boot ... check on which driver does it hang.

Worrying is not the best of solutions.

The correct solution would be if you succeed in conveying your point to your boss (Narue is right ... never go to the chain of command without any severe reason). And thats possible only through communication ... If you dont do it, things wont happen your way ... so make them happen. Wish you best of luck.

Verify: internet explorer -- tools -- internet options -- security --internet -- custom level -- file download is set to enable.

See if there is any conflict in the hardware irqs ... go to run -- msinfo32 -- hardware resources -- conflicts/sharing.

Set your program access defaults of media to windows media player .. and then try again..

Go to windows media player -- tools -- options -- devices and verify that speakers are present there.

Determining how to select the IP address is pretty simple. Essentially, all you would need to do is give it any address outside of your DHCP scope. For example, let's say your DHCP scope was 192.168.0.50 - 192.168.0.100. This means that you have 50 IP address available to use with DHCP. If this doesnt cure ... then try reseting the theme to default windows xp.

This usually occurs because of corrupted drivers .. you should completely uninstall the sound card driver, reboot and let windows detect the card and if it's not plug n play ... install the driver manually, not automatically.

Is any other site opening in your Internet explorer ?? Empty your internet cache and then try to access any site ... If you can access other sites .. then you can try signing into the msn web messenger ...

Start menu -- All programs -- Accessories -- Communications -- Network setup wizard... I'm using winXP pro .. not sure if it is the same path for home edition.

Just plug out everything and plug in again ... see if you can start your computer now ..

Can you boot from cd rom or the system is completely dead ??

Hello salty! welcome to daniweb community ... can you tell us about your system .. what type of blue screen do you see .. is there anything written on it ?? And which version of panda are you using .. platinum or titanium ??

See if the boot device in your bios is set to your current hard drive ..
If it is ... then try unplugging the cd rom and boot..
