lol , great use of a projector to play games, i should be saying "tut tut, shouldn't u be working?" but i am appluading :)
It is if you are used to it :) I have played PS games for many years now and so i find it simple, and i find others harder to use, such as the Xbox one.
But the screenshots i have seen look nice, but i have seen better.
My hands are fairly large and a find the PS2 controller to be perfect in size. I haven't got an Xbox so i haven't played Halo from 1 through to 3, i have played Halo 2 at bennets house, and i didn't like it, the Xbox has too many buttons to deal with, the PS2 one is simple and self explanitary to an extent
I agree with u there jasimp about the sucky PS3 controllers, but if you could putthe PS2 ones into the PS3 that would save alot. I don't care about a motion senser, i would prefer not to have one tbh, seeing as wires are far more reliable, and no batteries needed.
What is the big deal about Halo?
I have never really gotten into it at all, i dislike the Xbox controller and so dont have an Xbox, the Playstation has a nice simple controller which suits me better.
Find new drivers for the system that you are using. Try the makers website and look for download options, then drivers. Often when you buy a product you have an old version of the drivers, there may be a Vista driver available for your actual phone (Not the VoiceWing system) product. The drivers would be for the handset that you use. I am guessing it connects to your computer via a USB?
If you are planning on reformating your HDD, then you will need to enter MyComputer, then right click on your main disc drive select 'Format' , then follow the process through. This will erase all the data on your HDD, please be sure that you back-up any data that you want kept before doing this drastic measure. This is a last chance scenario to do a re-format of your HDD.
If it is not connecting through via your router i think it is a compatability issue.
When you tried it on the Xp computer, was it going through the same router (the upgraded netgear wnr854t) or a different one?
If you want to delete everything on your HDD's then reformating them would be the best option to do, this involves deleting everything on them.
Are you using Skype or something else?
Also reinstall any drivers which came with the product. Also if you have the original packaging look for the logo that says it's compatible with windows vista. If it says compatible with xp and not vista, it will only work on XP.
What specifications has your computer got? (amount of RAM, CPU, PSu etc.)
Can you boot in Safe mode?
How far do you get in the booting process?
How old is your computer?
And how big is your power supply?
Could be age, or could be that you don't have enough power, also how long has this problem occured for?
Well in fact is hindering you more than it is helping. So take one of them out would be the best bet. Then your XP won't be struggling trying to make use of something which it can't. Your Motherboard can support it, it's just your Operating System can't.
Here's the link that Bennet gave me:

Makes everything clearer.

Keep One thing in Mind, if you don't know what you are about to do does, don't do it!
Not if you have the correct cooling, Most PSU's today come with either 1 Very large fan attached, or 2 smaller ones. My Trust 570W PSU has two 10cm Diameter fans attached. Ample Cooling. But yes more watt's = more heat disipated.
My computer curently uses a 570W PSU, which is ample for my gfx card, 2gig ram, HDD, DVD/CD drive and the various other things in there.
The more power the better!
I believe the second post on this thread should help you out:

A BIOS upgrade is where you delete your old BIOS and install a new one, much like program updates, take away the old, and install the new.
It says on the 2nd post of the link what you should do. If you are unsure about what to do, post back here and i'll see if i can get someone how knows more than i do about this to help you out.
Moved onto Sprite :P
Sugar Sugar everywhere.
You get to space things out
I put in some gaffa tape
I'm Drinking Orange Juice :)
Arn't i Healthy :P
Are you running XP or another OS?
A Problem which i have descovered is that XP doesn't show all of the RAM you have. You will probably upgrade your BIOS to make full use of that extra Gb of RAM. I believe Vista can only use up to 3Gb effectivly so that extra Gb you have (If You run Vista) is slightly pointless. What programs are you intending on running to need 4Gb of RAM?
Yes Version 11 is the most current and in my view the best WMP that i have experienced.
You get a Bonfire
I put in some ash
You get a Cheif cook them for ya
I put in some Tomato Ketchup
Are the drivers on a CD?
If they are when you load the CD into your machine, go into My Computer open up the CD/DVD Drive and open the programs maually. If this doesn't help come back to us.
Yeah when people are calling me or i am sending out text messages on my mobile phone, i get the random sounds you describe.
Either move your mobile phone a good meter or so away and the problem should be solved, if it persists come back to us.
yes
Does a God exist in your opinion?
I have to side with jt and Naure to. Annoying people are not liked.
With typing 'msconfig' into 'Run' , be sure to keep checked anything that says windows in the location, otherwise un-tick all the others, this can be found on the 'Start-up' tab.
To re-install your drivers simply do the following:
Open Control Panel -> Click on System -> click onto the 'Hardware' tab -> Click onto the 'Device Manager' Button -> Right Click onto any of the Devices shown on the list and click 'Update Driver' -> Follow the Wizard through to see if the Wizard can find a better driver than you have at present.
Hope That helps.
You get a muddy field
I put in a music festival
Is this a USB or a PS/2 connecting mouse?
If it is USB check for the latest drivers.
iTunes if you really want it, i personally don't but it is there, you could try Windows Media Player 11, it can play all different types of media but it's main purpose is for music.
To get rid of the old anti-virus prog, it may have it's own uninstall system in the start menu -> programs, if it is not there, have a hunt in the Add/Remove Programs section.
Also what where you doing on the computer when the buttons stopped working?
You get a toolbox
I put in some red paint
You get Random Errors
I put in a Hammer
Home made ice cream ~ haven't tried it (really should be 'haven't made it')
Vintage 7 Cheese :)
Have you changed over any other hardware recently? Such as RAM, PSU etc.?
Make sure your computer is free of dust/dirt and has sufficent cooling (enough fans in the machine (water-cooling if you have it)).
Do As Bennet suggests make sure you have the latest drivers for the gfx card.
Did you get a Blue Screen at any time?
Greenland!
(Techincally it is Denmark seeing as they 'own' it)
Iceland :P
Cold places are the coolest :) :)
It could be absolutly anything that has failed. A large surge of Voltage through a precision piece of electronics would cause havoc. If this problem persists, buying new components is your only option, and you could buy a new PC for the cost of the components.
Also run your computer and other Hardware devices that require power of their own (monitors, printers etc) use a surge protecter adapter socket. This will then take the impact of the voltage instead of your PC.
Well for the microchips inside your computer, they can withstand up to +/- 5V. The 12V line is for the other components (fans etc). No load implies 0V in the elctronics world, if nothing was connected to take the current away (to be precise it is actually giving out the current) it would be a 'floating input' which means that the circuit will not work. So no load voltage would actually be 0V or a negative voltage line.
Hope that helps ya.
1. Sorry i didn't know it was a laptop :P
2. Do as Chaky says, check if the ribbons were dislodged/unseated by the fall it took.
