In my opinion isn't the insurance industry being sexist? Seeing as they are offering female drivers better offers than us chaps? Yes some men do 'pimp' there rides but most do it for a hobby and they do a nice job of it, while others use Dr. Pepper cans as the exhaust vent and have a 5 foot high spoiler. Those kinds of people should pay more because they are idiots.

Have you got the data and power cables connected in all of the right places?
This is a common mistake by leaving a cable out of it's place.

Does the internet come into ur room via a phone line cable, or via a LAN port?
If it is through a LAN port, it's going to be tricky to do, but if it is through a Phone port, that would be easier.

Using over half od your total space, so your computer going to be slightly slower, have you done tried to unclutter your PC, by un-installing un-necessary programs, might help. Also do another Disk Defrag, and Disk cleanup and run antivirus/spyware checker again just to make sure your computer is at the best possible performance it can be. How old is your computer?

Have you changed any hardware recently?
You may have used the wrong cables or not plugged in some.

To check the cables are in-tact and not the problem, open up your machine and check taht the data and power cables are fully plugged into both ends of where they connect especially the data cable (looks like lots of little grey/white wires stuck together).
Once that has been ruled out, you could always buy a new DVD drive that is to todays high standards.

Use another media player! If iTunes is giving you constant grief switch to a different media player. OR if you wish to keep iTunes, goto file-> add folder to library.
Select the folder that has all the music in it, and do it that way.

Well you have said many bad things about apple in the past, but the iPod's suck in my opinion, that's why i went to creative for my Music player (£30 cheaper for the same amount of storage!) iPods have a huge mark-up price. So if the iPhone does make it to a shelf near me, i am stearing well clear.

If you have the 2007 complete collection version, then you should have it on one DVD. A CD isn't big enough. Go onto the disc itself and manually instal it that way.

Did you instal it as follows:
BF2 game -> Patch -> reboot -> BF2 special forces -> patch -> reboot -> euro force -> patch -> reboot -> armoured fury -> patch -> reboot.
Install the 2 add on's (Armoured fury and Euro force) in that order only.
It's long winded yes, but it 'should' work.

Or a Reformat? That could help.

Why do we need all these companies making phones?!?
I mean we have enough ruddy choice as it is, why do we need more? I happy with my old phone, but this is getting crazy, soon the phones will be like cheaper PDA's, seeing as most of them surf the net and have a calender of sorts, i mean, what is the point?
In my opinion they have no purpose, a phone should be for calling and texting, not ruddy checking msn and your e-mail inbox, that is not the purpose the mobile phone was built for.

Also are you playing BF2 standalone, or the Complete Collection version?

Have you tried putting a new battery into the motherboard. Otherwise if your motherboard is damaged in any way, you will have to replace the entire unit, and then buy new components to comply with that motherboard.

I didn't think it was compatible with Vista.
Seeing as it was made before Vista, i don't think it would work on multiplayer.

That would show not enough power going to the adapter. Could be a PSU problem with that, change the adapter.

First off Welcome, and yes you have posted it in the right place.
Well, there are many reasons why a computer can't support a certain amount of RAM. What type (PC...) and what amount of RAM do you have at the moment? XP isn't your problem with speed, you proble lies jointly with the 1Ghz processer and the RAM, both of which contribute to the speed of you machine. Seeing as your lpatop seems fairly old, because of a small processer by todays standards and having probably 256Mb or less of RAM i am guessing, that is why your laptop is quite slow. If you try this website: http://crucial.com/systemscanner/loader.aspx?Agree=Yes you can use crucial technologies system scanner to check to see what RAM you can support and how much of it. If you wanted to install more than what the system scanner and your conclusions say, to my knowledge you have to upgrade BIOS. I don't know how it is done, but check with the crucial tech's scanner to see what your system can cope with at the moment.

2. The RAM is properly seated
3. No muck on the contacts
4. They have enough of it!
