Hey ive got a Asus A7V600-F mobo. Now the F isnt on Asus's site, mainly because its Fujitsu Siemens bios on it. Now because of that i cant overclock. Is there any fix for that, because i have the EZ-Flash utility on the board so flashing the bios is real easy.

Oh and im using a Athlon 3000+ on it

Hello everyone.I just got my mp3 player. Its a SanDisk Sansa e140 and im having problems with my screen. When its show song name, artist, and album there are lines going through the screen at the leftside and it just leaves it blank. When i put pressure on the screen there it all re- appears. Im not sure what it is but if anyone could help me out, thanks.

Your screen might be dead, thats the only thing i can think of.

Well i got a logitech mx7000 mouse, and ive had it for a while now and cant live without it. The only problem is that i have never been able to use the middleclick (scroll click) button in firefox only. All the rest wotks great. would there be away to fix this, its very annoying...

Well i payed 10$ for it :) because it was an open box, and i dint know it came with the adapter. But now im using my own rechargables and charger until i can get it. Is there a way i could actually get the charger ?

Ok i got this tiny chip im my LCD. Its definitaly a chip i can see deph in it, and it showes up as a white spot. The pixels still work in the spot and all, but is there a way i can fill/fix it or am i better off leaving it alone... Its not very big but it is visible, since its in the HUD aerea of most games

So our server runs on novell 4 if i remember... So if you need further info that i didnt specify just ask, cuz i dont know what i need for this to work

heh thats odd, i got it to work again by telling it that i had 2 partitions, and i chose the right xp to boot from... Strangely it works well

Ok heres my problem, i get stuck at the boot screen before loading windows. It wont load up because it sais that hal.dll is missing or corrupted. I can get on my computer and use that hard-drive, by booting up on this old 8GB Quantum i have with XP installed. The dll is there, i made a backup of it, and i tried the one from my 8GB, nothing. I also took the same one, but 2 months ago (from a northon ghost image from the drive) and the same happends...

I tried the bootcfg /rebuild solution, it worked once and never did again. What can i do without needing to re-install XP ? Because thats the last thing i want to do, after certain experiences from that.....

Try it in a game console case, like a Xbox or a ps1.
Or maybee if you have one of those big old rc cars lying around

There is absolutely no need for AMD to do that, as they enjoy a clear performance lead in every processor category currently available, except for the Centrino's PentiumM, for which AMD does not yet have a competitor.

Are you shure about that (talking about the mobile processors now), Intel might be better but AMD is stepping up to them with there new Turion processors

Phisically, maybee butyou can do this. Open run and type in (dxdiag) without the brackets. Then hit the display the top, and there you go the name and some specs of your card.

One thing that im worried about, is that your PSU only has 250W. Your system might be under powered, try and see if that sould be a cause. I know 300W-400W is usually recommended.

Or if it's a small number of pre-recorded tapes just buy the DVD as that will be easier and quite possibly cheaper as well :)

AMD's FX series are the best gaming processors you can get thats what there made for. I know lots of people like intel for some reasons, and others like AMD for their reasons. But the average person woudnt see a difference so thats why some companies get away by selling a fast celeron, but when it comes to gaming those celerons suck. But since ive gotten my Athlon 2000+ im sticking with AMD and ill soon need a new computer so im still looking into dual-core, maybee waiting for a quad-core thats supposed to come out in 2007-2008 or just get a FX series.

Dude are you shure the intel wasnt a celeron by any chance, and both were the same clock speed. Im not trying to prove that intel is better or anything... But its true intel is better at encoding, but AMD is still a gamers favourite choice, for superiour power and clock speeds. But as we were talking about most of us would head towards AMD for a home based server

Have found that the ATI AIW Radeon 9200 driver I use (Catalyst 4.10) is not XP SP2 compatible (get a black screen about 30 secs. after log-in), and neither are any of the updated Catalysts from 4.11 and later, up to 5.5. Have heard it could actually require a motherboard BIOS flash, but haven't researched it thoroughly yet.

ok i have VMware 4.5.2 build 8848, and i wanted to setup linux, but it didnt work.. To test it out i then tried xp first and that didne work neither. They noth give me this error, "

I had an ide card hocked up on my machine to squeeze in a 3rd harddrive, and it botted in a fair 2 minutes. I also have a dozen usb devices but it never took more then 5 minuted to boot, look at mine now without the ide card ive timed some 13 sec. almost all the time.

Oh i recommend un-installing most programms if you can, because i had only a few programms working after installing it. Northn might not work after installing SP2 so be prepared.

Man i remember getting the green beta cd of SP2, it was going to be relesed in like 4 months... Mand that was the days when i had better.... Now i cant wait to get longhorn beta... :cheesy:

Some of the best high end cards go up to 800$, but 400$ you can get a great one, depending where you buy

what tyoe of mouse, usb or ps/2 ?. Have you tried an other port, or an other mouse on the computer ? Try to use your mouse on some other computer . Then well see whats the problem

thats hard to say because my freind has his satellite, and its been around for 3 years atkeast. his battery isnt as good but the rest is fine

is there possibly a way to enable the usb in the bios when you boot ? It dosnt work here ecause i have wireless. But now that you say it, thare should ba something in the bios. Maybee enable the thing where you turn on the comp bt touching any keys

same here, shurly you have an old ps/2 keyboard lying around. It works with you usb keyboard in too. If you dont have one, its only like 5$ for a real old used one

Ok im 15 and one thing thats hard to work around, is you set a password protected administrator account, and install northon internet security 2005. Then set him up on a power user accoung (this will prevent him fron setting the parental controls in northon, and prevent him from installing software without your permission). Then all is done, but the only downside is that northon internet security 2005 is 25-60$

Also this is hard to crack, and it works in many other browsers (actualy all of them). The only advice is to also keep the xp cd hidden, because i re-installed xp wits the admin pass as one i know. Also i dont bother to look at some on the net, it usually puts some spyware and stuff in my computer (if i dont have ad-aware on)

also you can increse, decrese and even turn off the backliht on a laptop with the "fn" key. Usually te fn key's that u can use are in orange or grey depending on the make. Also sheck power management, or something with acer on the control panel (use clasic view, it is easiey) and look for something qith screen brightness. I know on my toshiba i can increse or decrese screen brighteness, and processor speed from power management

I found out that it is the x700xt that is more likely to beat the 6600GT.

Ok i have a 9200se on my motherboard, and its a 8X card. My motherboard is a 4X AGP and it works pretty good. I would recommend getting pci-e and and all if wou can afford it....

Look at the benchmarks of the card your are thinking to buy, and compare before with a price vs performance. Try to see if its worth those extra few dollars for an Nvidia, and if its preformance is worth that extra money

The memory on the card isnt important, its how fast it can move info on and off the cards memory, and how fast it can process graphics. But more room helps only if it can move info real fast trough it. But i have to agree that ive never seen many probleams with ATi compared to some ive seen with NVidia's stuff

you have to agree that toshiba has improved a lot troughout the years. but what i dont get is that my dad has this toshiba portoge 3110 ct, and it has lasted for ever still works fine too.

i have the same problem...but only different is its says "Pre" on da display screen with an arrow...can any one tell me were to download the manual from...or have the soultion to this problem
