Just make sure your case isn't too small or it may be difficult to add things to it. Check the number of slots (PCI) and the number of RAM slots on your system board, to make upgrading your memory easier (some motherboards only have 2 slots).

I guess this is why I use firefox, but Microsoft won't let me play on the gaming zone without IE. When I try to log into Dani Web the site looks like it logs me in and says "Thank you" and then it loads the page and I'm not logged …

I'm curious; would it work if you could identify and pause the processes running so they could not replicate and then delete?

In any case you probably wouldn't need a whole new computer; even if you need a new CPU; of course that depends on what kind of CPU we are talking about as well; if it's old it might be more economical just to buy a newer motherboard and CPU and …

Somebody at work gave me an Athlon XP 2000+ computer which is faster than my old p4 and it only has 256 mb RAM but it has 3 more slots; mine uses RAMBUS memory which is too expensive, so I was going to put my hard drive in this computer, …

I tried to put a site in the top bar where the quick links are but nothing happens when I click it. I also tried enabling the links bar in the taskbar and it didn't work from there either. Anyone know why?

This makes me even more determined not to buy it! I just looked up the system requirements for Halo 2, which supposedly run on a Pentium 3; however Microsoft supposedly only released it for Vista. My system is too slow to run Vista and I honestly don't know if I …

If it is AGP I'm pretty sure it will look different from the other PCI slots. Oh and I'm also fairly certain there were GeForce 4 AGP cards.

I wish I knew the answer but all I can do here is vent about HP, because my Compaq didn't work when I ordered the restore CD and it was supposedly the incorrect one so it didn't work at all. Pissed me off!

I am certainly not an expert with viruses but possibly if you can find the processes running you could pause them and then delete them. Some are set to restart if you disable.

You could try checking all the processes running and see if there are some that look suspicious, then google them.
