@OP!!! I notice I can see "HAVE A DREAM" when I rotate the iPhone. So my thoughts changed from the 3 bouncing balls being a clue to your site is doing something odd on the small screen. Back to caniuse.com and testing on Safari with a small view window.

Also, I see the same thing on Firefox on a Windows PC so whatever you are doing works on both PC and iPhone now identically.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

@OP, now back at the office so I was able to try it on an iPhone 5s. And I'm getting 3 bouncing green ping pong balls. Off to google to see what that means but you should write more than it doesn't work. If you see anything, then report that to speed things along.

As to your question about trying it on Safari, I think you will understand why you do that test soon enough.

What's next? Go over your code and check each line out at http://caniuse.com/

Me? I'm going to google what the 3 bouncing balls mean. Hope I find a better explaination that the 3 seashells (Demolition Man.)

I don't see any code to save this as the form loads or closes. There are prior discussions about this so in short, you need to save this on exit, and load it when your form loads. I see that this is a topic at http://vbcity.com/blogs/xtab/archive/2013/08/19/windows-forms-saving-user-s-additions-to-autocomplete-textbox-source.aspx

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

There are 3 easy to fix errors there as noted at https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Ftwisteddigital.com.au%2F

For a start I'd make the site squeaky clean with no errors.

Next see if it loads on your Apple/PC/Windows such in the Safari browser.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

And that's the rub. Companies that put out the one to many want to make revenue for their SDK and products. If you want to avoid that, you have to develop your own.

However you will discover that finding who this is via a fingerprint search will take longer and longer as your fingerprint database grows. You are walking into a time trap here. I can't know if you've seen such one to many searches before.

Here's my thought. You would taint your reputation as they wait minutes or longer for a match to be found.

Back to that obvious search. Since you didn't find a company giving it up for free, then you get to build your own.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Let's see the form close code where you save your collection. You'll need another passage (code) to load from there when your form shows.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

It compiles so ship it?

Compilers can't mind read yet so logic errors compile without any feedback to you.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

@OP. I left out an obvious path here. It may not please those that don't write a lot of code but it is a path I follow when I need modules or source without license fees. Here it is: https://www.google.com/#q=open+source+fingerprint+matching

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Edited:
You claim up top this is " to be used in identification of patients " so why the one to many need?

You have John Doe right there and only need to verify it is John Doe.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I didn't check for more of the same uninitialized variable use. You will check for that. Also, learn to print out variables so you can debug your code.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

The error was clear, and in fact you did use it uninitialized. See line 71 up to 74? You shouldn't use this until you put something in there.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I read the page at http://www.secugen.com/download/sdkrequest.htm so there are free SDKs there. Did you get them?

There are priors to this question. That is, it's not a new question with maybe too many priors.
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+use+Visual+studio+c%2Fc%2B%2B+compiler+in+eclipse&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 is what I used to find those priors.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I think you need to consider that varbinary data may just be that and not a file stored in a database. Yes you may find jpeg images if that's the intent of the app and database but you've made an assumption that all varbinary items are files. What if they are not?

So back to the app to decode what is there.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Your "code" gave no clue it was css. Try going back to W3C on this one and AGAIN, use the discussion tags or make a better post.

Read https://www.w3.org/Style/Examples/007/center.en.html

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Your post tag is "logo" so off I went to http://www.calormen.com/jslogo/ and this isn't logo. Add more detail about this code and add more tags.

Did you try to use AnalogX's uninstaller? It seems to be at
C:\Program Files (x86)\AnalogX\CookieWall\cookieu.exe

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

That has a 350W PSU with undocumented "rails." Because we don't have particulars you need to see if the PSU is a single rail. If so, a nod to the Nvidia 950 cards as this should be fine. If it's some split rail PSU then a nod to the Nvidia 750 models.

You can compare old and new GPUs at gpuboss.com

I can see where folk get lost on such an endeavor. To me that would be no less than 3 apps. But one of them might be used by all 3 platforms. If you created an email client on a web page then you hit all platforms with one app.

I see from your past posts you know a little about web site creation so maybe that's what's first.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

@gahhon, my thought is to get into the documentation for your server choice. Also since it's Java, you have other possible server setup issues. It wasn't funny last time I looked at a non-working Java item and the server owner/person that set it up did not test that Java was working at all. For that test, back to your server docs.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

@eliy, that could mean you need to add your locality in the future for topics like this. Some countries have steep import duties to the point there is little to do except shop local. Here, in the US my experience is it's cheaper to go with regular PCs and instlall Linux. As to the WiFi, I haven't had much issue on laptops. I do however have this on a rather new Intel NUC but since I am not locked into any particular distro I used Ubuntu and it works. Tails and I think Puppy does as well so that's a sign that I should retry distros as time has passed.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I heard a debate that Facebook somehow tapped into human consciousness. Then again, now I'm hearing that is for old people.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Ouch. Here we learned long ago we would create our iOS apps on an Apple computer. Our devs use most Macbook Pro's and the dev system is free from Apple. There are docs and more over at Apple.com.

Once in a while you find folk pining for a NPL (non-programming-language) solution but those can be rough to impossible to get into the Apple app store.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

OK, you've picked the x86 Android simulator so there are priors as to Android Studio using the CPU.
https://www.google.com/#q=limit+android+studio+cpu+usage

Hmm, now let me be sure my Java is current and I'll launch Android Studio and open a project.
http://i.imgur.com/NopLauD.png?1 is what happened and if you are seeing high CPU use with just the IDE and a project open, I think folk have priors on that. Here, I'm not seeing the issue.

@OP. I was looking at that site and here in the US on Amazon.com It looks like your laptops without OS or Linux at that site was less for more money. My son picked up this Asus ROG which is great for programming too for under 1K. We flipped out the HDD for a 500GB SSD for 120 and it's flying. The usual 6th Gen i7, 16GB DDR4 and more. That machine looked to be nearly 2K at zareason so my observation is that folk appear willing to pay more to get it without Windows. Here I just get a machine, then install Linux. But maybe my thinking is too simple here.

Oh, links.

Here's your spec on the table "What I need is a table 4 columns across and say 10 down."

I have a friend with GoDaddy and he could do that. Maybe you left out something on your specification but I can't know that.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I think it's worth repeating that you need to change the emulator from an ARM to a x86 Android. I did that and it was a whole new ballgame.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I looked at rubberman's offered site and the prices seem to be higher than what I get here. Is it really worth paying more? I've seen folk do that and wonder why.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

@OP
Since I only have your code and not what's in $offerid, my advice is to print out more until you debug it.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

To sniff this out, add something like print count($offerid) after line 1 to see what you have there.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Same here. The compiler does indeed max out on CPU and RAM. I think that's a good thing as we don't have to wait as long for a compile.

But more about the simulator. There are tomes on the web about using an x86 based Android in the Simulator along with notes from Intel about speeding up the emualator. If you are using an ARM based simulation that's more than double (some say 10x) the work.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Good find but next time share what's installed other than the OS and drivers. Otherwise I would not know to read from
https://www.google.com/#q=kaspersky+slows+down+network

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I'd get back to owner of the app that created this. Also watch http://findnerd.com/list/view/Identify-file-type-from-hexbinary/18576/

As to the file command, try that on a Linux machine (real or virtual.)

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Did you try old Linux "file" command?
Doc in manpages or http://linux.die.net/man/1/file and likely other places.

I took a quick look at Godaddy's website builder. It does tables.
How ? https://www.godaddy.com/help/adding-tables-and-forms-7685

And I took a look on how to send the email with that form data.
How ? https://www.godaddy.com/help/specifying-email-address-in-a-form-5217

Finally I looked for how to add a checkbox with the Godaddy website builder.
Try https://www.godaddy.com/help/adding-form-elements-3035

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I'll have to defer to those that ran that server but the quick looks I did in your first post found a naming error.
You corrected that and then it looked like a deployment error which is of course dependant on what server you run.

Leaving out details like that is your choice so my thought is you have name and deployment errors.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Where I live, such laptops cost more and I get less for my money. This is why I buy a good laptop and install the OS of choice if I were to do this.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

There's a clue. I find drivers on CD to almost always be out of date. The VPN makes this one a custom. I can't guess what that does to the network performance.

I didn't broach this but another area that repeats is how the network and clients resolve IP addresses. I see nothing about that here but name resolutions can really take a toll.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I haven't seen this lag. But I have run into far too many instances where someone installs Windows (pick any version) and doesn't have a solid install plan. I take it by your post this is not a ready to use PC but one that was built.

Sorry if I have to guess here but the machine and install details are missing. I usually find the issue is drivers and what has been installed after the OS and drivers.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

@OP. While your question is mangled, it may have prior discussions. Example: https://www.google.com/#q=How+can+I+secure+my+C%23+application

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

When this happens to me (does not matter which language) I test my SQL command string at the command prompt. I can't know which SQL you are using but almost all have a terminal interface.

In your IDE, break at link 4 of the button click code and get the sql string. Test it directly against your SQL.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

I wonder if you misplaced your JAVA file?

https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/appdev/deployment.html writes:

/WEB-INF/classes/ - This directory contains any Java class files (and associated resources) required for your application, including both servlet and non-servlet classes, that are not combined into JAR files. If your classes are organized into Java packages, you must reflect this in the directory hierarchy under /WEB-INF/classes/. For example, a Java class named com.mycompany.mypackage.MyServlet would need to be stored in a file named /WEB-INF/classes/com/mycompany/mypackage/MyServlet.class.

I wonder if this is a deployment issue and not a code issue.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Sorry about that typo. I meant long sought after.

As to the conditional statements, yes, that's how many sites work around all this.

But, that's a lot of work. RWD ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design ) is a primer on this. Many sites try to be responsive and fail in another way.

See https://xkcd.com/869/

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

The statement? I'll disagree. It's a big list to look at but https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn467850%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 notes changes that for this round let's say your site was perfect in IE9 but used elements and features in MSFT's article could indeed fail on later IE versions.

So, it is possible to make an all good with IE9 web site yet see failures in other browsers including Microsof'ts own.

--> So with that my guess is you are chasing the low sought after "I want my site to be compatible with all browser" dream. That's a dream!

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

You may have to give more information when posting about assembler. If this was the usual x86 devices (PCs) then folk might reply.

Here, and while I have a lot of embedded work over the years, I would never have guessed you were using Mars the simulator.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

That could make for a very dated web site. Add the fact you want it to work on next gen devices like 4K displays (nit: running into few 4K displays, most are UHD!), my bet is you need to use features that blow IE9 out of the water.

Check your use of features with some sites like:
http://caniuse.com/
And of course W3C's site and code checker.

PS. What is "foulless"? Maybe faultless?

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

My first look at the HTML about line 14 writes "indexServlet" but the Java file name is "indexSerlvet". That could be a problem.

indexServlet ≠ indexSerlvet

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator
rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

Where to start.

A design. Sketch out the process first. It sounds like you got ahead of yourself and don't have a solid design yet. Stop coding and restart your design process.

rproffitt 2,701 https://5calls.org Moderator

There's a few problems with that question.

  1. You already asked it in this site.
  2. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/36430889/looking-for-opus-codec-wrapper-for-delphi closed it for the reason they stated.
  3. The second hit on google http://www.pretentiousname.com/pnop_source/ claims to have it in Delphi plus source if you don't like its implementation.
