Or put this in the criteria of your query
Between [Enter Start Date] And [Enter End Date]
It will prompt for the dates.
If you want it to always be set dates, type
Between #M/D/YY# AND #M/D/YY# With whatever dates you want to set.
Source graphics for what? Are you referring to stock photos? There are lots of sites for that, some are free, some aren't.

have you tried opening them after saving them but before transferring them to the flash drive?
Well just because I couldn't wait for a reply, I decided to remake the report copying the controls from the broken one. It works fine now.
I have a really weird thing happening in my database. It used to work fine but all of a sudden now when I preview the report, it shows up too large. Please see the pictures to understand what I mean.
I have tried undoing every change that I had made, but I still have no clue why it displays this way. The oddest thing about it is, when you preview the report for the first time after opening the database, it displays incorrectly. If you close the report, then open it again and all subsequent time as long as the database doesn't close, it displays properly. As soon as you close the database, reopen it, and preview the report, it displays incorrectly again.
Has anyone encountered this before?
The database is made in Access 2003 but the database is still in a 2000 format.
The only VB in the whole database is to make alternate rows in the details section shade. A group header has an embedded word object.
Thanks
I haven't had to deal with it since I reloaded my PC, but when I used Illustrator CS2 before with a lot of brushes, it automatically would stagger the brushes back and froth across the screen. I'll go try to load up a bunch and get back to you.
There are programs, but in my opinion, it is not right to take someones elses work, even if it is just for informational/educational purposes. If they wanted you to have it, they would make a tutorial.
Can you set a higher reslution on your computer display?
Brochure for what? Do you want it to do anything or just display a graphic?
Like this?
When you preview the movie in the bandwidth profiler is there a big spike at the time the text comes in? If so preloader is the only thing I can think of.
Do you want it to fade to white or black?
Do you want it to be completely faded by frame 300 or start at frame 300?
You can always make a graphic symbol of a black or white box. Insert a keyframe and drag the symbol to the stage where ever you want the fade to start. Set a keyframe where you want the fade to end. Make it a motion tween. Set the first symbols alpha channel to make it disappear and you are done.
In the over state of the button you put a movie clip symbol of whatever the animation is. Automatically when you hover over the button it should start to play the movie clip.
You need to work out the legality, but here is the picture. It was a bunch of images ordered within the Word doc.
Why dont you read the replies from the first post you made with the exact same question?
So are you saying you are looking for a preloader?
Access is a very unforgiving app in that when working with tables, you only get 1 undo (with the exception of deleting because once its gone, it's gone).
You could try to do a restore, but usually with windows restore, the files remain the same and the system configuration is reset back to the previous time.
My recommendation, before ever making changes to a database, duplicate it and work on that just in case something happens. It has saved me numerous times.
Certain colors are said not to go together becuase people who have various forms of color blindness can't see them. Here is some information regarding that.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb263953.aspx
In the sense of red and green, most people would say to avoid that because it is too christmasy, but in actuality red and green compliment each other in the same way orange and blue do.
sure, I want 1million people to get registered, and 100people logged on at the same time, as much as pictures being uploaded, etc.
so hope you guys can help.
thank you!!
Seeing as how serious you are about all of this, why even post a question for people to waste time on?
How many users are you expecting to have registered? How many people do you expect to have logged on at the same time? How many pictures do you anticipate people uploading? Are you limiting the picture size that can be uploaded?
Buddylee gave good suggestions, but you need to provide additional information before any kind of recommendations can be given.
What do you mean by a curve effect on the bottom. Do you want the outline of the box to be curved like a rounded rectangle (but on the bottom only) or are you talking about making it look 3D and using a gradient to look like the the middle of the button is popping out?
Have you seen this on a website somewhere that we can see as an example of what you mean?
Do you have a test server online? If not then no amount of FTP settings will work for you. Do you have content within your site that requires a server to process? If not, then you don't need to do anything with a test server. Just says everything will be stored local and to test your page press F12.
Don't listen to what other people recommend for a book. Everyone learns different so what I find to be very useful, you might think is useless. What I do recommend to people who ask is to learn one part of the program. Use it and understand it. Then read that part of the book, if what they say makes sense to you, that book should be good for you.
Are you using the same file names(just overwriting the existing files in the directory)? If so after you upload it, try to hit refresh on your browser. It is possible the page is cached. I've experienced that with Firefox when I upload my new pages sometimes. Refresh bring in the modified content.
A reminder per se wont remove the swf. You would have to manually remove it from the directory housing it, but within Outlook you can go to the calendar module click on the New button and enter the date/time you want to remember to remove the swf. Make sure to check the box that you do want a reminder and as long as Outlook is open on the day you set, a box will appear telling you to remove the SWF.
Why not just remove the swf file when the time is up? Set a reminder in outlook or something.
uninstall and reinstall it lik eyou did Photoshop.
There are the Adobe certs as well as CIW. There is a designer, programmer, etc.
Take a screen shot and post it up on here. That might be easier to figure out for us.
But why ask them to give you reputation? If someone wants to give it they will, but asking for someone to give it is lame. :)
Just to ask the obvious, you did upload all of the images within the images folder correct?
Going along the lines of what buddylee wrote, if you are using a web design app (Frontpage or Dreamweaver) and you insert pictures before you save the file for the first time, it will insert .. before the image name. That will cause it to not link correctly when placed on the web.
You need to know what kind of blur you want. Gaussian blur IMO works best for most blurs, but motion blur also has benefits. It all depends. Filter --> Blur --> . . .
Pupils are black, irises are different colors. The problem with doing this technique though is you lose that little spot of light (reflection) that all pupils have. It is very obvious when someone just paints over the red.
I would strongly recommend against making a fixed width table of 1024. For starters, even with 1024 x 768 res, people will have to scroll to the right because of the width of the vertical scroll bar. Furthermore, if someone has a resolution of only 800 x 600, they will have to scroll far to the right to see your whole page.
If you only want it to go a few spaces over, put this into your code
It may not be the most techonological or efficient, but it will work.
Give Filter --> Sharpen --> Unsharp mask a shot. The threshold should stay low (as in less then 5 usually but experiment). Increase the radius and the amount until desired. If the picture is too blury, there is nothing you can do. Setting too high of an amount or radius might give a halo so sometimes performing the same operation twice at lower settings works best.
I would be more than happy to look over what you make and provide suggestions, but between working full time and running a business on the side, my time is somewhat limited.
There are a few things I would change about your tutorial.
In step 10, you need to elaborate more for new users. Even with an attached picture, users might not know how to put in a new opacity stop or color stop for that matter.
In step 11, you said to apply the gradient, but you never previously had users deselect the marquee you created so rather than make a gradient on the whole button, it only makes it in the top half of your button. I would also make a mention (for informational purposes) that holding shift while dragging the gradient can lock a vertical, horizontal, or 45 degree angle.
I would say you have a good start, but it does still need more work.
Step 9, you can just single click on it.
You should also put this bit of text from the same site in there because I feel this is more important than disabling right click on images
It is not very secure. Anyone who understand how web pages work can easily circumvent it.
Results in different browsers can be unpredictable.
It can be annoying for visitors.
If when you say good design you are talking about appearance, then no, that is not necessary. But IMO design also includes layout and having an application that is well organized and user friendly is very important. Have a well programmed application is great, but if users cant enter data properly, the app is worthless.
Slicing happens in ImageReady. After slicing, try to export. That might work for you.
PNGs are lossless and can be saved in an 8 bit (gif) or 24 bit (jpg) format. They work quite well for web graphics.
Gifs are limited to 256 colors and uses a lossless compression. These support animation and transparency.
Jpegs have 16.7 million colors and use a lossy compressions so the more compression, the worse the quality of the picture.
You mean like a hyperlink? If so I would have to say why would you want to do that? Illustrator is for vector images not necessarily used with the web. If you are making a flyer or anything else that will be online, you would add a hyperlink after you insert the image (made with illustrator) within the page.
Disabling right click doesn't work anyway because someone can view the source to see the url of the picture with the file name, type that into a browser window and you have the picture in a window all by itself with no disbaled right click.
The best thing to do when resizing images would be to resample when adjusting picture size. I'm sure most if not all graphic applications have it. For Photoshop it appears within the Image size dialog box. There are different flavors of resampling. I use Photoshop and tend to leave the default of Bicubic. That has worked fine for all of the images I have worked with.
If you are creating images, and you do not specify any kind of a blur effect, your images will not be blurry.
One thing to avoid though would be making images small then increasing the size and vice versa. It wont necessairly make it blurry, but it can make it pixelated which will not look nice.
