are if you are trying to see what others are viewing on the computer .
are the picture you are concerned with viewed on the internet ,if so and IE browser is used ,go to ie tools and check history,or check temporary internet folder.

Thanks for your help, the new hard drive fixed my issue, and my Seagate drive is still under warranty so I'm going to RMA that. Also, the reviews that I had read online about how bad their RMA process was are all true. It's likely going to cost me a decent penny just to track down the required shipping materials, including 2" of required solid foam around all sides of the drive.

create a new folder on the desktop just call it drivers ,try right clicking in the zip file ,open with winzip should be in the list ,if so click it ,winzip has icons alson the top one will be unzip and then direct it to the folder you created on the desktop

yes that is important ,from what i see when i search the model #,it will take pc100 or pc133 ,maybe better to safe and buy the pc100 though,the pc133 would be faster but i cant say for sure it would work

when searching google ,use this [256mb 144-pin SODIMM, SDRAM]and it should show the same .read the sellers description to be sure ,post a link to what you find and we can check it fur you

using the serial number of the drive you can check there website to see if its still under warranty[check in the rma section ]

if the above doesn't work ,use winzip trial version to unzip the file to another folder and run the setup.exe file by simply clicking on it and chose install.

until windows is restarted or until windows kicks it out because its using the memory for something else ,so it would depend on how much ram you have and how much you do with windows after you opened the file

is c:\ you main drive with windows installed onto it ,or just a storage Drive

you could try creating a new user with full admin rights and see if it will let you copy the files

as stated already the word upgrade cannot be used when going from winxp to win7, you have to do a full install ,removing winxp and all software /formatting hdd

you cant format a harddrive and have all your data intact,a format erases the hdd of all data .

having said that i think i now understant what you meant .you have you drive partition into 4 parts,windows on c:\ and data on othere 3 correct,if so then just boot to your windows cd and you will get option to format c:/ and install windows to it ,all 4 partition will show in the list to chose from ,make sure you chose correct one ,they will belisted by size so wright dow the drive letters and size to make sure you are formatting correct one

I can't think of a good reason not to use Bootcamp to set up Windows, just so that you can keep up with the OS and have it handy, unless you are really crunched for hdd space.

interesting ,i checked this out and the total folder nd file size in both folders was just over 5kb, no great savings in hdd space ,like jlego i to use ccleaner regularly to ll temp file and cache files ,if you want to clean one and save space go to control panel and go to Java and clean that cache ,it saves alot ,but having said that ccleaner will clear it when you run it

think you should just take the laptop and only let her use it in the living room where others are with her ,afterall she is only 12

let try a system file checker scan see if it will fix corrupt dll file .
