I've tried all of those suggestions that is why I posted.
so why didn't you say that in your first post
Window explorer is all you got to move folder. Unless there is other File management software to do what you want. You can drag and drop a folder to another partition or hard disk. To me is the try and tested copy and paste.
re-read all post,op,wants to change location of system folders
try opening photo shop, open the file in question ,then go to file in toolbar and chose save as and save file lets say to the desktop for quick access , close photo shop ,go to desktop and click on saved file ,see if it opens in photoshop
Photoshop.
what about the rest of my ?'s
did you create the file with fotoshop ,what is the file extention of the file in question or is it more that one file
might help if we knew the program and filetype, where the file came from ,did you create the file with the program or download the file
http://hubpages.com/hub/Windows-7_-_Moving_My_Documents

note = i haven't tried this so use at your own risk
Yeah, like usual I left out info
yeah you sure did ! lol
not sure about doing it in win7 but i useto change it way back in win98 and xp ,you needed to change it in the registry .do a google search on changine folder locations not moving folders
for such problems i use ccleaner, run the regestry clean section and remove all it finds.

Hi,never heard of the big or little endian so reading a bit about it was interesting ,seems like you answer may be that windows OS dose not use big -endian
assuming you didn't do a google search for an answer i will post what i read, hope it helps
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness
If you more than one HDD then you may go for making on "Master HDD" and other one "Slave HDD"
Now by doing this you can easily move folders in between them.Hope this helps
no need for master /slave in win7,sata [my assumption]drives don't even have master/slave settings
sounds like a bad or corrupt drive ,i would boot computer to a winxp cd and using the [R]recovery consol run a chkdsk /r

http://majorgeeks.com/Trend_Micro_HijackThis_d5554.html
you need to remove the harddrive and use a external device to hook it to another computer i fit will not boot to safe mode[hitting f8 on bootup]
i would unplug all wire connections inside and out of the box,and video card and ram chips and and re-seat them

Just an idea . . . can i check my F11 key actually works some how? Thinking it may be defective?
yes, open internet explorer browser ,hit f11 it should change IE to full screen
just theroy never actually done it ,if you put the drive in your laptop and add windows i386 content,[i386 files would have to on a seperate partition it think to install xp on other partition ]maybe you could then boot the f8 option and chose safe mode with command promp ,and then find you way to what you added and run setup from there.
also ,im wondering if it would be possiable to access i386 file on a thumb drive from the command prompt
hi, i would use something to cut away the metal seperating the two back slots ,i have tin snips i use or hacksaw blade, photo shows a dell tower but you should get the idea
my opinion ,then answer is no,and yes you leave the battery in the laptop when plugged into power .
when new you should charge battery /unplug,use till battery dies,regharge/kill maybe 3 times .then just use and charge as needed

hi, i would elimate the switch, just hook the wirelless router to the isp provided modem ,then ,wire it to your fathers computer ,,hook the wire that goes to fathers computer from the modem to the wan port of the wirless router ,then run a cable from wireless router to you dad computer ,you should be fine as long as your dads room isn't to far away ,if the wireless router is latest wireless N type you should be fine ,we hook to ours from about 600 ft across the roard at mothers house from time to time
im on a cable hook up , three wireless laptops ,modem and wireless router is just on the floor behind a chair not hooked to any computer ,we do not pay anything for extra ip address
try hardware monitor to see temp of harddrive and cpu ,motherboard
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor-pro.html
ccleaner is free,so no cost to try it ,
i would suggest installing it [ i use it all the time on my own and custoers computers ]going into tools ,uninstall progras you don't want, them run the cleaner to remove temp files and cache files, then run the regestry cleaner ,i admit it will nor be as good a a clean install but will certenly help
