when the seach engine crawls your site the first file it hits is robots.txt and if it sees to disallow any files it won't index them which means they should go off there index!

Ok there are many factors in chooseing a linux distro 1. what you want from it 2. what platform! 3. speed! a few very very good ones are fedora core, SUSE, Mandriva, Deian ( this is a little hard) these all are all in ones but very large iso's!
